Bet you have been hearing this one name since the 2024 season started. Rhett Lashlee. Aren’t you? Well, the guy has all the reasons to be in the limelight. He’s guiding the SMU Mustangs to the 2024 conference championship game against the Clemson Tigers, aiming to win the ACC title.

While the Mustangs are still hoping for a playoff spot, rolling with an incredible 11-1 record so far. You know what? Under head coach Lashlee, the Mustangs had their most successful season in the past 60 years. Especially his children, who give him the daily dose of energy to achieve his dreams.

How many twins does Rhett Lashlee have?

Before learning about his children, you should know that Rhett Lahslee and his wife Lauren Lee had dated for most of their college life when Rhett was pursuing his football career at Auburn University while Lauren was pursuing her education. They met there, fell in love, and after spending some time together, they finally tied the knot in 2007.

While talking about their relationship and her life as the wife of a coach, Lauren said in a 2023 interview, “So been married to Rhett for actually 16 years this coming Friday, so we’re about to celebrate that anniversary, and then we’ve got four kiddos, not Superwoman, but more survivor most days. I’ll just say that, right? Lots of, lots of juggling of little people, but then a coach’s wife for gosh, I think it’s 15 seasons now. So just yeah, we’ve been on a journey. It’s been an incredible one, and many moves. Several states, many many homes, and it’s just been really cool. And I’m gonna stay-at-home mom to these awesome kiddos. And so they just kind of keep me busy and moving along.”

Moving forward, some years after they got married, the duo welcomed their twin boys, Thomas and Hudson, who are now 14 years old. Their birthday marks September 10th. When the boys turned thirteen, Rhett Lashlee wrote an Instagram post saying, “9.10.10-> 9.10.23|| THIRTEENTH! Happy birthday, boys! Cannot believe you’re 13 and teenagers today! Being your dad is the greatest honor of my life, and your mom, sisters, and I love you so very much!”

Not only Lauren, but even the SMU head coach also takes some time from his busy schedule to post about how grateful he is to God for giving them such beautiful children. Who are Rhett Lashlee’s daughters?

Yeah, eight years ago, the Lashlee couple welcomed their pretty pretty daughters, who are again twins! They named them Rowyn and Scarlet, the double trouble duo. Their birthday comes on May 2nd, and Lashlee always makes sure to write heartwarming wishes for his little girls. “Birthday girl wasn’t having it. Life of a coach’s kid.” 

Why that caption? So basically, Lashlee shared one of his girl’s videos where she can be seen all having fun and enjoying her birthday while Rhett asks her what’s today. To that, she answers, saying it’s her birthday. But the man got no chill; he said, nah, what else? The little girl seemed confused, and after that, Lashlee told her that it was May 2nd, and it was marked as the day the transfer portal closed.
