Lane Kiffin is exuding confidence as he leads the Ole Miss Rebels toward what could be an undefeated season. Their recent 52-13 win over Georgia Southern extended their streak to four games, making the No. 6 Rebels a team to watch.
Even though the SEC is dominated by powerhouses like Alabama and Georgia, the Rebels are proving themselves as serious underdogs. After the win, Kiffin’s signature humor was on display during his press interactions, where he highlighted his quick, game-changing decisions that led to victory.
On September 22nd, Ole Miss Football shared a poster on X featuring Kiffin’s witty remarks, captioned, “Give the people what they want” 😏. In a post-game interview, Kiffin explained one of his on-field decisions, saying, “The field was like standing up chanting for JJ, so I felt bad that he was just going in at tight end to block. So the next play, we put him at running back. Harlem, our RB, was mad, and I was like, hey, I give people what they want.”

Fans won’t forget how their defensive tackle JJ Pegues, Henry Parrish, and Domonique Thomas all ran for touchdowns. The Rebels finished with a staggering 607 yards of offense, though they struggled with 11 penalties totaling 133 yards. Kiffin also praised Pegues, calling the Oxford-born defensive star a “hometown hero.” The highlight, however, was Kiffin’s playful commenting on social media post, asking Rebels fan’s opinion, “Are you not entertained?”
Despite some last-minute changes, Kiffin and his team secured a dominant win over Georgia Southern. His mix of sharp decisions and humorous banter continues to make him one of the most entertaining coaches in college football.
