Colorado Buffaloes alum Matt McChesney still remembers the time from his Junior Day. On his third very visit with Deion Sanders, the Buffs HC messed with the player. As they share a laugh, McChesney shoots up Deion Sanders Jr., Coach Prime’s favorite Bucky for hot topics about Coach Prime. To which the Well Off Media tycoon sweetly obliged and brought Deion’s ‘immature’ side in front of the fans. Even though Jr. tagged his father as immature, and messing around with people, the Buffs HC knows where to draw the reins. This 2024 season has been a rollercoaster ride for the Buffs and Deion did handle it maturely while Jr. fell prey to his emotional riot.
The Sanders are recently spotted in a peppy mood. While they had a rocky start against the Cornhuskers, they are finally back in the momentum. Just then, the Buffs alum poured in, bringing Jr. on his podcast Zero 2 Sixty with Matt McChesney to further lighten the Buffs fans’ mood. The ex-New York Jets legend poured in with his own views, “He clowns on everybody when he gets the opportunity.” Bucky then joined in revealing a side of Deion who normally comes of as a sorted man. “I tell people all the time he’s a serious dude, he’s hardcore but he’s real immature also he plays around all day,” revealed Jr.
But that’s just Deion’s way of showing love. Bucky just made it easier for the Colorado players to decode Coach Prime’s love language. “I tell people he really messes with you when he starts making fun of you, when he starts joking on you that means he really f- – ks with you,” stated the Well Off Media tycoon.

While we would lose count if we go looking for Deion jokingly messing with players, the genes have been passed down to Jr. as well. The latest cheekily pranking session targeted the Buffs’ dual-threat Travis Hunter. When the player promised a giveaway, “Be there. I’m also giving away a PS5 & 5 copies of the new @easportscollege game,” after being the EA Sports No.1 WR, Bucky had to drop in. His reply “What club you working at that night?” came as if it was his father Deion behind the phone typing the comment. But not to forget how Coach Prime helped the Buffs get on the right track.
Deion Sanders’ calm demeanor amidst the storm
Well, things were going emotionally tough for the Buffs after their 28-10 loss to the Huskers, which came off as a blow. While Colorado was still figuring out what blunder they made, Matt Rhule’s army went overboard with their celebrations. What better way to break their morales than using their work that would further sprinkle salt on their fresh wounds?
So what Nebraska did was rush back to their locker room and grooved to Shedeur Sanders’ Perfect Timing rap. And BOOM! Jr. could no longer keep his calm and re-shared the reel by serving a threatening take. “Y’all deserve it. Turn up Nebraska. We would do the exact same thing to y’all,” Bucky captioned the post. Being a hot-head Deion is, fans expected Coach Prime to unleash his rage.

Is Deion Sanders' playful nature a strength or a distraction for his coaching career?
Have an interesting take?
Surprisingly, he did not only keep his mouth zipped up but even set out strict ground rules for the players before their face-off against the Colorado State Rams. Already the Rams WR and QB duo, Tory Horton and Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi had come up with sly ways to light the drama fuse by brutally poking them, “We’ll see how far Instagram followers gets them.” But what message Coach Prime had for his players? “We’re not going to pull out no phones and do nothing stupid and post something stupid regarding the opposing team.” Now you decide who gets the immature tag? Father Deion Sanders or son Deion Sanders Jr.?
