Are you excited about helping someone who used to oppose your father? We’re hoping the executive assistant for the Alabama Crimson Tide can give us a precise response. Ali Smith, Alabama’s executive assistant, whose father was a coach who opposed Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer. She is currently assisting DeBoer. Very interesting. The stories from the Bama HC’s assistant, who has a family conflict with him, are more intriguing.
Ali Smith told anecdotes about Kalen DeBoer in her first interview with Emily Grace McWhorter on The Next Round on November 16. She remarked, “I believe in who he is I believe in what he stands for and that’s someone that I take a lot of Pride representing. He like he is who he is and I think he’s who you see and you know what I love is that we can just have like normal casual conversations banter laughs he makes fun of me I make fun of him like it’s honestly it couldn’t be a better situation for me and I’m really happy where I am and that’s why I followed him.”

Then, when she was asked about the conversation with her father regarding Kalen DeBoer, she replied that they like to say that the coach has paid back the debt by giving her this job because they kicked their ass pretty well in the national championship. It was funny, though, because her dad was actually here for the Western Kentucky game, and the coach had the football up. Her dad took a picture and other things, but he said, “That’s the one game that you know he won’t get back!” If you are not aware, Ali’s father coached against Kalen DeBoer in 1996 when DeBoer was a senior at the University of Sioux Falls.

Moreover, Smith added, “That is my life is keeping him on schedule so he does he like I said he’s really self-sufficient in a lot of ways but it’s reminding him hey in 10 minutes you got to be here and hey in 5 minutes you have this and make sure you have this this phone number to call this person and it’s kind of it’s all the little details that you like to try and get ahead of.”
You are therefore well-informed about the personal life of the head coach of Bama. However, are you aware of his present team situation? Are they on the playoff roster? Are they vying for the title?

This could have been handled quite nicely by Kalen DeBoer. However, he isn’t performing well on the field. His Alabama team, which is 6-2 overall, is vying for a spot in the playoffs based on reputation. And he is aware that he must only win the last four games of the season. It seems like they are unaware of their ranked position in the College Football Playoff selection process. It was only revealed on Wednesday that Alabama, the only team with two losses in the 12-team tournament, was seeded at number 11.
However, Kalen DeBoer is aware that these are just the preliminary rankings. “For us, it’s about every week,” DeBoer stated. Bringing in a winning mindset is all that matters to them, regardless of the CFP standings, for his own benefit as well as the benefit of the team. Let’s now see if Bama can maintain their winning streak and fight for the championship.
