“If this video gets 200,000 likes ima play this weekend.” Looks like the prophecy is gonna come true. We all know that everyone knows the Buffs because of Deion Sanders, Shedeur Sanders, and Travis Hunter. However, you gotta cut Shilo Sanders some slack, too. This guy put in some work when the team went up against NDSU. While it is true that the O-line had a hard time keeping up with the Bisons, Shilo still made sure the defense was solid by bringing in around 6 solo tackles. So, it’s heartbreaking to see that before this dude got his chance to make his mark in CFB, his hand got injured.

Still, there is some good news. On the September 20th episode of Well Of Media, Deion Sanders Jr. and Shilo discuss returning to the game. Now, here’s the thing. Shilo drops a hint that he might be coming back. “The fans have spoken. You playing next game,” Deion Jr. mentioned. “That’d be great,” Shilo notes while looking at his hand. When Deion Jr. points the camera toward Shilo, we spot that his hand is unwrapped. “I do treatment. So they had to unwrap it,” Shilo mentions when Deion Jr. asks him about the unwrapped hand. Could this mean the young Safety is coming back to help out Coach Prime?

Here’s the thing, this question has 2 answers. The Dante Dowdell 13-yard rush during the Huskers game managed to injure Shilo’s forearm. Now we know that the surgery was a success because Deion posted about it on Instagram. So there’s a potential chance Shilo could be back during the game against Baylor. However, history goes against Deion’s son. Research involving 33 NFL athletes who had gone through ORIF surgery revealed that it took an average of 152.1 days for them to return to the game. This was something MD, Joshua D. Harris undertook.

“Forearm fractures can be career-threatening injuries for professional athletes,” Harris noted in his research. So, there’s this possibility that maybe Shilo won’t return for the Bears game and we could see him during Week 5 or something. We have yet to see any statements from Coach Prime himself. However, the fans definitely want Shilo back. Another factor is that Deion might keep Carter Stoutmire locked in. This guy managed to make some waves during the Rocky Mountain Showdown. Bringing in 5 total tackles, 1 pass breakup, and an amazing QB Hit.

There’s a big chance he is going to make a name for himself during the Baylor game as well. Even Coach Prime has mentioned that he has full faith in Stoutmire during the post-game conference when the Buffs lost to the Huskers. “He’s the future, a kid that we went and got out of high school,” Deion noted. Regardless of what happens, what we do know is that the Buffs finally have a good grasp on the game so we are gonna see Shedeur and Hunter putting in some work against Baylor.

What will go down when Deion Sanders goes up against the Bears?

We will try not to be mean, but the Bears are in a very bad spot right now. HC Dave Aranda has done everything to ensure that this year, Baylor has an offense and defense that is capable of keeping up with the schedule. However, things ain’t going great. While there was an amazing start with a 45-3 win over Tarleton. the momentum slowed down as Baylor went further deep into their schedule. The Air Force and Utah game showed us that the team was all over the place.

Now this is something Hunter and Shedeur can make full use of and exploit. We have seen how amazing Hunter has been doing. This guy created history during the Rams game and managed to boost his odds in the Heisman run. Shedeur, on the other hand, does rely heavily on his O-line, but when he gets the support, this guy can easily pull in more than 2-3 touchdowns and 300 yards. Let’s wait and watch what Deion Sanders and his boys manage to cook up against Baylor on September 22nd.
