“Cowboys will move mountains to draft Shedeur Sanders”. This was something Arrowhead Live had predicted back on August 3rd and looks like the dream is gonna come true. With Dak Prescott’s contract prices going sky-high, Jerry Jones needs a quick replacement for the team. Dak was the go-to QB for the Giants. Bringing in 90+ PFF grades along with taking his team to 3 titles, he was a good player no doubt, but he kept choking during the most important matches. However, now, the Giants have another problem they gotta tackle soon. QB Daniel Jones was seen struggling during the preseason practice. He was unable to land any major passes and was quite weak when it came down to driving the ball.

So, the Giants fans have predicted the perfect replacement for Daniel Jones. Ryan Evans took to X to share, “The New York #Giants have officially clinched the 2025 #1 overall pick.” Chugs, a different user, quickly responded with “Imagine they get fooled into taking Shedeur Sanders”. The Prescott x Jones dilemma is going to put Jerry Jones in a rough spot. The good thing is, that man already has his eyes on Shedeur. NFL Rookie Watch mentioned back on August 12th that Shedeur was apparently the “Apple of [Jerry] Jones’ Eye”. And why shouldn’t he be? If we look at last season, that kid got around 30+ TDs along with a completion rate of 69%. If we look past the 9.8% sack rate for his dropbacks, the base stats are really solid compared to any QB in college football.

Aaron Torres explained it best when he said, “I think every QB in America would love to have that down season.” Now, as the Buffs prep for the 2024 season, Shedeur’s chances of becoming the No.1 QB look strong. Deion Sanders has already brought in Pat Shurmur to help Shedeur out with his defenses and to make him learn how he can survive in the pocket. The team also got better linemen this year because of the early transfer portal. With that aside, let’s dive into what the fans think could be the best step for the Giants.

“Shedeur Sanders and Malik Nabers about to take the game by storm next season,” wrote one fan on X. If we think about it, at the college level itself, Shedeur is an amazing force on the field. NFL Analyst Daniel Jeremiah noted it perfectly when he said that Shedeur has an amazing ability to drive the ball downfield. That paired with his aim makes him a strong force. With the NFL backing, Shedeur would become even better and could easily fill the gaps that Dak and Daniel are leaving. Another fan definitely agrees cause they wrote, “giants fans dont worry Demon Shedeur Sanders will save you soon.” 

One more fan was quite vocal. “Shedeur Sanders YOU ARE a New York Giant,” they wrote on X. We can’t forget the fact that Jerry Jones himself has shown faith in Shedeur becoming the top pick next year. Jones had clearly mentioned, “may be the 1st overall pick in 2025.” Finally, one last fan mentioned, “no QB in the history of pro football has ever been less likely to be a New York Giant then Sheduer Sanders.” As we mentioned before, Shedeur has the stats, all he’s gotta do is focus on his defenses and he will become unstoppable.
