Is Arch Manning the real deal, or is Nick Saban just stirring the pot against Georgia?

We have been hearing the name Georgia Bulldogs for the entire week and the weeks before it. It started when many of Georgia’s players faced legal charges; if you recall, Kirby Smart‘s boys were arrested for reckless driving last year. Now, two weeks ago, Georgia’s receiver, Colbie Young, was arrested for the charges of assault and battery, and he even got suspended later. Today, they are traveling to Austin for the week eight games, fans are here brutally lashing out at them! One of those read, “The only Dawg allowed in Austin is Ben,” talking about college game day analyst Kirk Herbstreit’s dog. Want to know College GameDay’s response?

ESPN’s College GameDay is in the town, and Austin, Texas, is hosting the Georgia Bulldogs for the most intriguing matchup of the 2024 college football season. With College GameDay, Pat McAfee and Nick Saban are back with their hilarious style to keep the vibe alive. While most of them are predicting Texas to win this game, Alabama’s former head coach Nick Saban also shared his take by waving the flag for Steve Sarkisian and his star quarterback, Arch Manning, while throwing shade on Kirby Smart and his star quarterback, Carson Beck.

“I love his game. Yeah, I haven’t practiced against Arch for a couple of years. He does more to make the defense adjust and make the defensive players think with formations and motions that anybody will be able to play,” Saban said, highlighting Arch Manning’s game.

Carson Beck and the Bulldogs are entering this game following a win against Mississippi State last weekend, and now they’re aiming to defend one of the toughest opponents on their schedule. Georgia already faced defeat earlier this month against Alabama Crimson Tide, and if they lose this time, their position in college football will be at stake. With that, let’s learn what analysts are suggesting.

Georgia-texas College GameDay predictions

Although it was quite predictable who’d choose whom, it’s always intriguing to listen to the analysts picking their best team ahead of such a historic matchup. Desmond Howard, the former football wide receiver and return specialist who’s what went to Michigan for college and was drafted by the Washington Redskins (now Commanders) in the NFL, picked his best guess, saying Texas will win.

Next up is the people’s man and the coach, Nick Saban, who also predicted the Texas Longhorns to secure a win. Next up in line is Pat McAfee, who doesn’t need an introduction and has been in this business for quite some time, predicting that Texas will win this matchup. Followed by the popular golfer and college gameday guest picker, who also showcased faith in Texas.

Then the ESPN analyst and a former coach, Lee Corso, who’s the most senior sitting among the college game day crew, given his experience, picked Texas over Georgia. Such a pathetic situation the Bulldogs are facing even before playing the game. With that, only a miracle can save them from a painful loss.
