The Dawgs probably slamming their head on the wall right now. Okay, what went wrong with the Georgia Bulldogs? Was it Carson Beck‘s “bittersweet” 2024 season run, or was it him ditching Georgia and calling Miami his next home? Since Beck basically left Georgia in the dark on a lot of that, the Bulldog fans have every reason to hate their ex-QB. Georgia is not going to forgive Carson anytime soon for what he has done and the Bulldogs understand this sentiment very well. The Bulldogs just want to move on from Carson and are closing Beck’s chapter in Georgia as soon as they can. But one desperate move seemed to have just backfired the Bulldogs.
After Carson’s exit, Kirby Smart went ahead with Gunner Stockton as his next QB. But there is a slight problem. “The UGA bookstore didn’t waste any time,” Rivals posted on IG, sharing Carson Beck merch on 25% clearance. With Beck stepping out of Kirby Smart‘s umbrella, there is no way Georgia is going to put up with those No.15 merch. But d-mn, putting it on clearance is adding salt to the wound. We get the hate. Beck wasn’t “good” all year, and while his overall presence in the gridiron was short-lived, you cannot just blame the QB for the downfall. Georgia’s main problem this season was their drop-prone receiver room. These guys dropped more catches than Shedeur Sanders was getting sacked. And that says a lot.

Honestly, some fans would agree that him going to the Hurricanes for $4 million was a good move. “I think it’s a good decision for him to be able to stay another year and build on his college career a little bit,” Johnny Manziel had mentioned…
And while fans might hate UGA’s desperate move, Beck is still out there making more money than Bo Nix‘s first contract with the NFL. Now, what happened to these sale proceedings? God knows. Beck ain’t getting any share, and that’s for sure.
Let’s Smart figure something out for the Dawgs. Gunner Stockton is still a good QB pick, so maybe fans would slowly shift their attention to that guy. If not, then you can always find “Beck-haters” in the comment section of every Georgia-related post.

“Just give it away!” a fan quickly wrote under the comment section. Are you sure people would even accept this as a free giveaway? Another fan took the “Dawgs” remark literally. “You can go ahead and donate all that to your nearest animal shelter or rescue,” they mentioned.
Imagine UGA in a Carson Beck jersey? “Give it to the homeless who are desperate for clothing. Sane people don’t want to spend money on this crap,” one fan pointed out. Yeah, at least you will get something good out of it. Right?

“Ain’t nobody buying this stuff now that it’s junk. Just like Gator fans aren’t buying Etienne gear. Just send it to the kids in Africa or give it away to poor kids in the Athens area,” another fan wrote. Oh, if you didn’t know, Trevor Etienne was on the Gators before moving over to the Dawgs. Yeah, Florida fans DO NOT like him.
The summary of the story? While fans rave about the discount, Beck is still out there counting his $10 million NIL fortune.
