In the clash of SEC supremacy, the No. 4 Georgia Bulldogs are going above and beyond to beat their rivals, the No. 1 ranked Texas Longhorns. Georgia is an underdog for the very first time after the 2021 national championship game against the Crimson Tide. However, its underdog status might provide fuel for their preparation. Losing against Alabama was a turning point for Georgia, and now they are finally getting another chance to showcase that they can pull out a win against even the top-ranked team. Even though Kirby Smart is aware of the kind of game they’ll be expected on Saturday by saying, “They are clearly one of the best teams in the country with what they do,” is it just rat poison? At least after looking at Bruce Feldman‘s comments, Georgia can’t pull out a win.’

College football insider Bruce Feldman talked about the upcoming Georgia vs. Texas game on the recent episode of ‘The Rich Eisen Show,” where he highlighted how Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium might witness a falling Georgia. “They’re (Texas) the one team in the SEC that has backed it up; everybody else has been really shaky. You look at Georgia especially; they’ve had issues off the field; they’ve had them for a little while under Kirby Smart,” he pointed out.

Georgia’s offense has been improving but their defense has been a problem so far. The exact thing was evident during Georgia’s win over Mississippi State. However, even their star QB, Carson Beck, had some issues in their win over MS State.

Carson Beck is getting targeted after that game. Feldman talked about Beck, saying, “You know I feel like Carson Beck has as sharp as he was last year in his first year as a starter, the defense, the run defense, which was great when they were winning titles and tailed off last year, has tailed off last year, has tailed off even more this year.”
