Well, it looks like Miami really laid out the red carpet for its supposed QB1 and then snatched it right from under him. Turns out Carson Beck‘s $4 million fat NIL deal didn’t come with a theft clause. With Beck’s Lamborghini and Mercedes already gone, the theft took a spicier turn when Hanna Cavinder’s Land Rover joined the car heist. Now, if that wasn’t enough, his old team’s insiders took up the charge to roast them, as it’s their full-time job. Brutal right? But what can you expect after Beck left them out of the blue?
Turns out Carson Beck wakes up to a nightmare as his Lamborghini and Mercedes disappear into the Miami night. The theft also impacted his girlfriend, Hanna Cavinder, but they found her SUV. While Beck’s Mercedes eventually makes it home, his Lambo is still missing. Despite ongoing police efforts, the $270K beast is nowhere to be found. Losing such high horsepower overnight is indeed a harsh blow.
Meanwhile, DawgNation insider Kaylee Mansell quickly turned this misfortune into humor. Instead of showing sympathy, she proposes a theory, connecting the theft to actor Brandon Adams’ vacation, saying, “We believe that the lease may have ended. But with all that said, it now makes a lot of sense as to why Brandon Adams is on vacation this week.” That’s some next-level SEC X energy.

However, Connor Riley smartly shut it down fast, saying, “Are you accusing Brandon Adams of stealing Carson Beck’s cars, Kaylee? Grand Theft Auto’s not a joke, Kaylee. It affects millions of families every year.” Instant classic. Plus, it’s a straight fact; as it’s not some video game, GTA, it’s a real-world theft that lands you in real consequences.
And you may find this comparison funny, but ask Carson Beck, who knows there’s nothing funny about this. Now his Mercedes might be back in the driveway, but that missing Lambo still means a $113K-sized headache. Plus, knowing Beck’s love for his cars, this isn’t really a good time to show off your humor.

Now Beck’s ownership of a luxury SUV showcases his passion for cars, a fact he openly acknowledges saying, “I love cars. I got a car. That’s really all it is. Obviously, a lot of people are going to look at it and say, what a terrible decision, what a terrible choice with his money. But it’s just a car at the end of the day. It’s not too big of a deal. I’m just driving it around.” Everyone indeed needs a way to get around, but when that ride is as expensive as a Lamborghini, people will notice. For now, off the field, Miami isn’t treating Carson Beck too well—but on it, also things look pretty shaky.
Is Miami really the right place for Carson Beck?
Carson Beck has declined an opportunity in the NFL to pursue a national championship in Miami Hurricanes securing a significant NIL payday in the process. While it may seem like a perfect scenario on paper – another season as QB1, substantial earnings, and a prominent stage – the real question remains: Does Miami possess the necessary components to achieve this goal?

For now, their roster appears to lack experience. Mark Fletcher is the only established weapon with 1,121 yards, leaving uncertainties about the rest of the team. Jordan Lyle has limited playtime, and Chance Robinson has yet to make his college debut. This supporting cast does not exactly scream “title contender.”
However, there is a glimmer of hope. Mario Cristobal’s recruiting class for 2025 leads the ACC, and his strategic staff additions, including Corey Hetherman as DC, Damione Lewis as assistant D-line coach, and Will Harris as secondary coach, demonstrate a clear intention to improve. Whether these changes will be sufficient to help Beck achieve his goals remains to be seen.
