Let’s discuss a hard-hitting play that was as dirty as a junkyard dog. Colorado’s quarterback Shedeur Sanders experienced a hit against the Jayhawks that will remain in the hearts of CFB fans for a long time. Surprisingly, no penalty and no action were taken in favor of the Buffs. This play left fans puzzled, questioning whether the referees were paying attention or acting mute intentionally. Well, it was a missed call that has sparked a lot of conversation, but the consequences are still unfolding.

During their game, Kansas linebacker Dean Miller launched himself on Shedeur Sanders’ knees, but the series didn’t end there. Miller was continuously targeting Shedeur Sanders in the game, which showed very low on Miller’s part. Moreover, even referees didn’t flag him, which only fueled his determination. Even former Bama RB Damien Harris has the same opinion as in today’s episode of Until Saturday; he said, “The fact that they did not throw a flag for that hit on Shedeur Sanders. That was, I mean this when I said what I tweeted—one of the dirtiest, most intentional hits I’ve seen. Not a fighting advocate, but if you’re the offensive line, how do you not jump that guy? You’ve got to put his face in the dirt, don’t you?”

Well, even though the Buffs couldn’t secure a win against the Jayhawks last week, they played their game with dignity and utmost pride. But not sure if we can say the same about the Kansas State Jayhawks. The team’s approach throughout the game seemed quite violent, and the way they were behaving with Shedeur Sanders was nothing less than a hate rally against him.

One time it’s a mistake, but does Dean Miller and the Kansas Jayhawks team care to explain about the rest of the game? The situation became so intense that Shedeur Sanders finally lost his calm and did something that would have ended his gameplay against the Jayhawks. Miller’s constant poking finally reached an extent where Shedeur finally lost his calm and ended up pushing a referee. This was the moment where the Buffs could have lost their star performer.

Is Shedeur Sanders’ nasty hit a boon or a curse?

What’s your perspective on:

Was Dean Miller's hit on Shedeur Sanders the dirtiest play you've seen this season?

Have an interesting take?

The uncalled act by Dean Miller and the Kansas State Jayhawks team is something that reflects really low on the sportsmanship spirit, and in a game like football, you can lose the game but can’t risk your pride. The team was so indulged in giving a hard time to Shedeur Sanders and Buffs that they didn’t even think that it might give him a career-ending injury. This much less known fact caught Joel Klatt’s attention as he said, “If Shedeur Sanders’ feet were firmly in the ground and planted, that is every ligament in his knee. It might be a broken leg.” Now you can understand what Shedeur could have lost.

However, despite all this nasty foul play going on in the field against Shedeur Sanders, Coach Prime saw it as a moment of pride for his son. Interesting right? Deion Sanders didn’t seem worried or stressed about Shedeur getting hit by the defenders in the game and said, “He’s good. Shedeur has been hit his whole life, man. He’s tough, one of the toughest young football players I’ve ever seen.” Well, there is no doubt that Shedeur is one of the strongest quarterbacks in the CFB world; even after getting sacked the highest number of times, he still comes out and gives his extraordinary performance.
