What happened to Florida State? The Seminoles are free falling into a pit of sheer chaos and HC Mike Norvell has no answers for the fans. Losing out on his star QB DJ Uiagalelei during the week 5 disaster loss to SMU at 42-16, the question that arises now is if Norvell is too dependent on the transfers and is not paying attention to what the team really needs. The broken finger issue is going to last for a while for DJ Uiagalelei and the fans are happy to keep it that way.
Unnecessary Roughness took to X to share a picture that had quite the remark regarding Uiagalelei. “Clemson while you are here, take DJ back,” was written on a banner. Uiagalelei ain’t having the best time. Starting the season with a bad game against Georgia Tech, even back then fans did not spare the QB and bombarded him with jabs. Norvell did note back then that he was proud of what DJ had accomplished. However, the scoreboard would say otherwise.

Brock Glenn has now taken over the helm of the starting QB and this guy could do considerably better than DJ. The main problem, however, is the fact that the Clemson game was supposed to be DJ’s revenge game.
Before coming to FSU, DJ played for Clemson between 2020 and 2022. Can Glenn make his brother-in-arms proud? The backup QB had around 19 out of 55 passes done. A very low 34.5% pass completion rate for 229 yards. The saving grace could be the Seminoles’ defense, but we wouldn’t count on it too much.
Another point you gotta keep in mind is that Clemson ain’t gonna make this easy. Running on 3-1, this team has a reputation to maintain, and losing to FSU would be slaughtering that. While we do know that Clemson will not take DJ back anytime soon, let’s focus on finding out if they have the edge during this game.

What’s your perspective on:
Can Brock Glenn turn the tide for FSU, or is the team doomed under Norvell's leadership?
Have an interesting take?
Mike Norvell does not have it in the bag
The entire offensive line of the Tigers can chew the Seminoles up and spit them out. While they did start off slow with only 3 points in Week 1, the Tigers managed to turn things around quite fast.
Going from 42 points per game and 457 yards per game to 55 points per game and 546 yards per game, Clemson Tigers have shown an improvement that many teams couldn’t have mustered. This will be a bane on the Seminoles’ defense who have been lacking since the start of the season.

Another point to keep in mind is the fact that Florida State has arguably the worst offensive line in the entire country. Barely covering around 15 points per game and 278 yards per game. DJ is also out of the question and Glenn will be taking over the duties, sparking more doubts. Do let us know what you think would happen.
