The Colorado Buffaloes dual threat is the only one who is ruling social media right at the moment. Well, it’s something that was bound to happen. After all, Hunter emerged as the winner of the Heisman race. And how could the Sanders fam not celebrate it? Well, the list is pretty long. The two-way star till now has wooed only Colorado Buffaloes HC Deion Sanders and his sons. Looks like Coach Prime’s mother Connie Knight, and daughter Deiondra got added to the list.

To start with the eldest member of the Sanders fam, Connie Knight, being Shedeur and Shilo’s grandmother, has always been spotted rooting for her grandkids. But Hunter’s latest achievement has been so fantastic, that even Knight thought of giving the Buffs’ two-way star a shoutout. On her IG story, Deion’s mother reposted the reel by Sports Center where the sports platform curated a special reel for Hunter, where he is shown to transform into the prize holding a podium. Next comes Deiondra’s turn.

Deion Sanders’ daughter too could not stop herself from soaking into Hunter’s pride. She happened to be as happy and shared a screenshot of Head of Editorial Operations at ELLE Magazine, Gwen Madiba’s IG story. It read, “What one of the greatest athletes has been able to achieve with these young men is simply commendable! @deionsanders pops is really HIM 👏👏👏 @db3_tip congratulations! It’s yours 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🔥 Congrats Unc @deionsanders 👏🙏🏿.” And what about the Buffs program’s all in all, Deion Sanders Jr. aka Bucky?  

He was definitely proud of Hunter and reposted a reel from the Well Off Forever Page. The reposted post from Sports Center is what most fans must be feeling right now. The caption read, “HANG IT IN THE TRAVIS HUNTER MUSEUM 🖼️.” Out of them all, Shedeur was the only one who captured Hunter’s candid moment from the special evening. The Heisman winner was caught happy dancing on the stage while flexing best bud Shedeur’s watch flex move. That’s all about his post-winning celebration. Looks like Hunter already left the fans on their toes with a pre-award ritual.

For how far Hunter has reached, Deion Sanders holds an immense role. After reaching New York City, the Buffs’ dual-threat still was not aware of what his fate had on hold for him. He only knew that he was leading the Heisman race. Well, you could feel the tension that Hunter might have gone through, right? The two-way star thought of diverting his attention.

And what better way to divert his attention than Coach Prime? So, Hunter was sitting idly on a couch as his attire for the evening, a baby blue-colored suit was sprawled out across the floor from head to toe with two white shoes at the bottom. It might come off as a sweet picture before the finale but if you are a true Buffs fan you would know there is something more to the picture. 

There lies some connection with the classic photo of Travis Hunter’s Coach Prime, from back in his playing days in the NFL. Just like the two-way star, Deion Sanders ahead of the Super Bowl XXIX was pictured. The Buffs HC too was seen sitting at his locker with his No. 21 San Francisco 49ers jersey spread out across the floor. That was Hunter’s homage to his mentor.
