People might have thought that Laura Levy, Coach Prime’s confidant, was crazy when she got a TV that cost more than a house. On July 9th we got the update that Levy had apparently got herself a $298K for her outdoor area. Like she said, “This would make @cubuffsfootball away games even better.” Now, it ain’t no surprise that after Coach Prime took over the program, CU and the Buffs became something of a legend. A program that had nothing had now become worth $200+ million. But, what kick-started this entire Deion Sanders and social media uproar?

While Deion was always a marketing genius, his show “Coach Prime” on Barstool Sports brought him even closer to his fans. Now on August 12th, we are getting the news that Deion’s business manager Constance Schwartz-Morini just finished signing a new deal with the CU. However, there’s a big catch. The contract specifically mentions that “CU needs Sanders’ prior written consent to “create its own short-form, non-serialized audiovisual content”. This stands for any content that features Deion Sanders or his sons or the Buffs team. So why is this clause there? Well, we got to know back in May that Amazon had picked the show up and renewed it for another season.

There is a high possibility that Deion wants to keep the major flashy parts of his program saved up for the show on Amazon. Now, the new episodes will aim toward showing what’s gonna happen with the Buffs in the 2024 season. If we go back, calling the 2023 season rough would be an understatement. The team went on to have a 4-8 run and Shedeur Sanders, the prized QB from Buffs, went on to become the most sacked player. However, things have since changed, and that’s what the show is going to be about.

The early transfer portal this year marked the beginning of Deion’s crusade to fix the team. With new lineman and star player Jordan Seaton on the team, Coach Prime made major changes to the O-line to ensure that his boy Shedeur is being protected. Fans can expect to see more behind-the-scenes footage and a closer look at how Deion managed to form his new strategy. The show can also focus on Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders and their potential NFL destinations.

Another aspect that could be a major selling point would be watching Shedeur’s transformation in the Buffs under Patt Shurmur’s guidance. SMAC Entertainment will produce fully the show and will also have Micah Brown as the showrunner. The media madness for the Buffs and “Prime Time” is gonna be over the moon soon.
