Was Prime Time really responsible for ending Dez Bryant’s college football career? The question still arises in many conversations. Former Cowboys’ star Dez Bryant cleared the assumptions again by representing his role model, Deion Sanders, at Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Fest by wearing his jersey no. 21.
He shared a dump of photos and videos from his time at the fest on his Instagram account and captioned it, “I had an amazing time at the @fanaticsfest.” The pictures and his conversions show he really had a good time at the event.

When the incident was fresh in 2011, Sanders shared his feelings on The Ben & Skin Show on ESPN. He stated. “I’m upset but not surprised whatsoever.” Still, Sanders tried his best to continue the relationship until he was worried that Bryant’s company might negatively influence other kids in his youth program. At that moment, he felt he could not help him anymore.
In his conversation with ESPN, he shared his concern for the player and stated, “I don’t have a problem with you lying to me. That’s one thing,” Sanders said. “But when you lie to yourself as a man, you have a serious problem, and that’s where this kid is. And I can’t condone it. I really can’t. It tarnishes everything else I’m trying to develop in these kids [in his youth program]. I can’t allow you to poison other kids that I’m trying to mentor and take to another level.”
