“I love how open I can be when I’m out there,” said Duncanville High School’s wide receiver, Dakorien Moore, after switching his commitment from the LSU Tigers to the Oregon Ducks. However, with Moore’s recent visit to the LSU game, there have been speculations about him returning to the team. This not only fuels the recruiting battle between the two teams but also creates a lot of controversies. However, Moore’s mom’s update on his inclination amidst the Tigers’ game shed light on many new things.
Today on a recent episode of the On3 Recruits, host Josh Newberg and guest Steve Wiltfong discussed Dakorien Moore’s desired team after he visited the LSU Tigers game on Saturday, which was given by his mother. Talking about it, Steve said, “Well, I talked to his mom, Maran, ahead of the visit, and they said they were excited to get to Baton Rouge and watch Kaden Durham play, his high school teammate from Duncanville.” Well, is this alarming news for the Ducks, as there might be chances that Dakorien Moore might get influenced by his former teammate Kaden and change his decision?

However, it looks like Steve Wiltfong doesn’t seem to agree with that notion, as he said, “I still like him to stick with Oregon right now, but I do think that there was conversation about why LSU would be the place for him. I think they’re still battling uphill against the Ducks.” Leaving a No. 1 ranked and undefeated program like the Oregon Ducks is not something that can be decided over one game. Also, LSU struggled a lot during their game against Alabama last week. Which surely doesn’t board well with their expectations.

Some of them include Odell Beckham Jr., Ja’Marr Chase, Brian Thomas, and many more. They not only came off as elite players but also demonstrated remarkable gameplay for their team. Well, it looks like Dakorien Moore didn’t think of it this way before making his move toward the Ducks. Let’s see why the teams are rooting hard for Moore.

Dakorien Moore has been the target for many prestigious universities like Texas and Ohio State, but he chose to pledge to the Oregon Ducks over all of them. Even though he committed to the Tigers, they could keep him on the team for much longer. But what could be the possible reason behind teams fighting to get Dakorien into their team? Well, the answer is very simple: his impressive track record. In his junior year, Dakorien completed 71 receptions for 1523 yards with 18 touchdowns, which made him the No. 1 wide receiver in the country.
