The 5-star QB Julian Lewis is yet to step into college football, but the 17-year-old has already kept everyone on their toes. The Carrollton High School superstar has given his words to Lincoln Riley’s USC Trojans. But that did not stop the young chap from exploring options. After striking off most of the programs in his checklist, as of now, the landing Lewis debate has been narrowed down to two.
The lucky ones are the obvious: Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes and Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs. Yes, that came off as a big surprise. This might have stirred the Buffs fans since the Dawgs were nowhere in the scene, but now it looks like Lewis is up for something with Smart’s program.

Looks like an out-of-syllabus situation for the Deion’s army. Well, the Buffs have been the most sincere participants in Lewis’ recruiting race. But the 17-year-old turned out to be an absolute trickster. Even though the young chap never gave his final words to Coach Prime, his actions were enough for the Buffs to visualize JuJu in the black and gold jersey. For instance, Lewis and the Buffs QB Shedeur appeared for a photo shoot where the 5-star QB was spotted in the Colorado jersey as Deion’s son handed out some keys to Lewis. But it’s now clear that maybe Buffs fans jumped to a conclusion too early. The Rivals.com posted about his sneaky move with the caption, “Imagine JuJu in Athens👀.”

As per the reports, with College GameDay heading to Athens this weekend, the list of visitors is pretty long to watch the Georgia Bulldogs vs. Tennessee Volunteers face-off. More than getting some scores, it looks like Smart is desperate to crush the Vols since, by doing that, they would be able to flip one of the top QBs in the country. Going by the hush-hush, Lewis is headed to Athens this weekend. And BOOM! The Buffs fans’ confidence in the 5-star QB had hit rock bottom in one go as they got all defensive.

As the Dawgs are ready to try and make a splash this weekend with Tennessee, the fans are really scared about the end result. While it’s still not sure that Julian Lewis is just visiting there for fun since Georgia is only a two-hour drive from Carrollton High, a Buffs fan came with a plea in the comment section, “Stay with Colorado.”
The elite playmaker has already closed his doors for Curt Cignetti’s Indiana Hoosiers, so the chances are there for him to do the same for Georgia. However, another Colorado fan is not quite bothered since he seems to be sure about Lewis’ final destination: “He cancelled his visit to Indiana, if he actually goes to Athens and is on campus, he could, but Colorado is a for sure lock, rn.” This reminded a Buffs fan of 5-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton and how he tried to shift focus by not making it obvious that he was going with Deion’s army and visited Maryland out of formality, “This feels like when Seaton was teasing Maryland before he signed with Colorado. He’s going to the buffs and this is a part of the show 😎”

How Lewis is managing everything with the Trojans badge amazed a fan who also seems to be all sure about the player locking with Colorado. As they wrote, “Bro doing anything but staying with usc btw he’s a buff lock.” The same goes for another fan who can’t think of any other program than the Colorado Buffaloes for the 5-star QB to land: “He is going to be a Buffalo in my opinion.” Let’s just wait and watch what more surprises Julian Lewis drops before he finalizes his next home!
