Will Ryan Williams' financial backing overshadow the raw talent of Cooper Flagg and Garrett Nussmeier?

Ryan Williams is going to go down in the history of college football as one of the most impactful freshmen of all time! The 5-star Alabama WR has already recorded an impressive 16 catches for 462 yards and five TDs in four games played with a lot going in his favor after their 41-34 victory against Georgia. To top off this stellar achievement, he’s only 17, the youngest Alabama player! It’s not even surprising how he surpassed every college football player’s earnings after Week 6.

As reported by On3 NIL on Instagram on October 4, Ryan Williams topped every other player in their list of “College Football’s Top 10 biggest On3 NIL Valuation risers after Week 6.” With a lucrative earning of $566K through Week 6, he even surpassed college football’s highest NIL earners Shedeur Sanders who trails second with $396K, and Jalen Milroe with $285K. With this income, his total NIL valuation has skyrocketed as it threatens to overtake two fellow college players.

After the income boost, Ryan Williams now ranks in the top 14 on On3 NIL with a total $1.5M valuation. Just ranking above him at No. 12 and No. 13 are 5-star college basketball freshman Cooper Flagg, who is also 17, and 4-star CFB red-shirt junior Garrett Nussmeier, respectively, with $1.5M each. While it’s a tie now, it’s very likely that we could see a huge change in Williams’ earnings after Week 7.
