Even if Deion Sanders tries ignoring controversies, they just don’t leave him alone. With the upcoming college football season, Coach Prime is going to start his second season as the head coach of Colorado. They will be facing off against the North Dakota State at Folsom, but the attention is still on the “Bully” incident. Deion adds more fuel to it by calling names to Paul Finebaum, think how that might have ended!
Deion Sanders’s “Bully” stance is on to a new level. During an appearance on RGIII’s podcast ‘Outta Pocket’, Sanders called Finebaum a “dying breed” one of those journalists who know exactly where to strike the balance and stay relevant. But, Paul Finebaum is not letting him go away with this comment. Today, during a panel meet with ESPN, he voiced his opinion “It didn’t mean very much as it was fairly irrelevant reaction”. Paul also added “I agree with he called me a dying breed in the profession, which I’m proud of because I do believe that the media should be treated with respect and not have selective persecution like he is using out there.” Ouch, that might have been a pretty sour truth for Sanders.
The interaction between these prominent individuals has intensified the media frenzy surrounding Colorado and coach Sanders as they approach the 2024 season. While Sanders has become a media magnet for his unconventional vision of building a program and his way of doing business, Finebaum represents a more traditional voice in sports media, emphasizing the importance of respect between coaches and the media. Perhaps a great result from CU Buffs will be able to shut all the critics altogether.

Will it be a promising season for Deion Sanders CU Buffs?
Last season was a disaster for the Buffs following that the Buff’s top offseason priority was getting better on the offensive line of the team. While losing all five starters from 2023, Coach Prime added the top offensive tackle recruit in the 2024 class Jordan Seaton and several highly talented players through transfers. The offense will also have a new man coaching them in the coming season. Former NFL offensive tackle Phil Loadholt, who was previously working as an offensive analyst at Oklahoma is all in to lead Buffs to a convincing season.
At the most crucial position on the field, senior quarterback Shedeur Sanders is going to be a game-changer for Colorado. Despite being the most-sacked quarterback in the FBS in 2023, Sanders still managed to achieve notable stats with 3,230 passing yards, 27 touchdowns, and only three interceptions. Additionally, he scored four touchdowns. Deion Sanders is confident about his team’s performance even with the lack of recognition from AP top-25 voters, Coach Prime guided Colorado to an impressive 3-0 start and a spot in the top-20 rankings before a disappointing downfall in the previous season. Despite the possibility of Sanders replicating the trick in 2024, he still faces a significant challenge in winning over Finebaum and other skeptics of his work in Boulder.
