Does Deion Sanders' genuine heart make him the most inspiring figure in college football today?

Hate him all you want, but no amount of trash-talking will ever change the fact that Deion Sanders is a good man. The 2024 season for the Buffs is the year of redemption for Coach Prime. With the NFL right around the corner, Deion has to make this count because he won’t be having Shedeur Sanders or Travis Hunter by his side anymore. However, as Prime Time continues to deal with the adversity of the CFB world, one thing that doesn’t get enough attention and talk about is the impact Deion Sanders has had on the lives of the surrounding people.

So, let’s head right in and talk about the small tribute that Deion’s friend of 21 years posted on Instagram on September 24th because of how great of a friend Deion has been to him. Korey Miller, director for 1820 Productions, took to Instagram to write a short note for Coach Prime. “What stands out most isn’t his accolades, the Super Bowl rings, or his legendary status across two sports. It’s the Deion that few get to see the man whose faith is as unwavering as his ambition, whose heart is filled with an ocean of gratitude,” Miller wrote in the caption of his post.

Miller goes on to mention that he cherished the 3-mile walk with Deion across Boulder and mentions how this moment made him realize that “real friendship isn’t about fanfare or fame, it’s about the people who walk with you.” Coach Prime is someone you can always count on to be by your side. We have seen this happening before as well. Take a look at Snoop Dogg and Deion’s entire friendship. Snoop was there for Deion when he needed someone during the entire Shilo Sanders’ bankruptcy problems.

At the same time, Deion was there for Snoop and helped the rapper start the Snoop Youth Football League back in 2005. “Me and Prime we’ve been doing this for a long time. He’s moved up to the collegiate level, and I stayed down on the lower level,” Snoop mentioned during an interview while talking about Coach Prime. It’s understandable where Miller is coming from. Having a friend like Deion Sanders by your side is a big deal.

So, all of this does make you wonder why the press hates Deion so much. Understandably, he has made the Buffs somewhat of a household name, but this hate mod that follows around Coach Prime and his sons is wild. More so because they often miss out and skip on the good this man has done.

Have an interesting take?

It was back on August 20th when we first got the news that Deion Sanders and Blenders’ founder Chase Fisher had partnered up to create NIL history. “we’re making history by honoring Peggy as the first fan ever to receive a NIL deal,” Blender wrote in the caption of their Instagram post. We can see Coach Prime and Fisher sitting with Buffs’s oldest fan, Peggy Coppom.

The deal revolves around Peggy getting a $1 commission for every sleeve sold by Blender. When the 99-year-old super fan learned about this, her reaction was “Oh my gosh.” It’s weird to think that this news never saw much attention from the media outlets who are always standing first to bash Deion for any random reason. You gotta cut this man some slack. Yes, it is understandable that he has a lot of pride and all, but he is also doing his fair share of making the world a better place.
