Can Deion Sanders silence his critics and prove he's the best coach in college football?

For a man like Colorado Buffaloes HC Deion Sanders, his exalting confidence does most of the task as his job as the HC.  Coach Prime thinks highly of himself after flipping the Colorado Buffaloes script, as he should! However, National College Football Insider Bruce Feldman arrives with some remarks to ground the high soaring confidence of Deion. The reality check hints at the Buffs HC not being able to qualify for the bare minimum. That makes it impossible to make his big dream come true. However, looks like Deion has been able to still keep the Fox Sports big shot in confidence. Is it merely because of the past Buffaloes connection or does he genuinely feel so?

Deion is the one who has brought winning football back to Boulder. After all, in his debut year, the Buffs fell prey to a 4-8 narrative. They now have a confirmed ticket to the bowl after their big 34-23 win against the Cincinnati Bearcats. However, going to the bowl is a rare phenomenon for the Buffs, who had the chance only three times in 17 years. With this, trends have already picked up about Coach Prime landing the Coach of the Year award. And here, Feldman takes entry to dish out some reality check on The Rich Eisen Show on Deion, even faltering to do the bare minimum, that is grabbing the Best Coach in the Big 12 award. The host had an important question for the analyst, “I mean can you give Deion Coach of the Year?”

Looked like Feldman could not confidently cast his vote for the HC, “Definitely could get consideration.” He did acknowledge Coach Prime’s effort when he said, “Deion’s done a terrific job” but still is not well enough to land the coveted prize. To Feldman, the Coach of the Year is a far-fetched dream for the HC since his position is questionable in the Big 12 race which accounts for the first step for landing the big award. Then to him who must be holding the prize? Feldman seemed to be rooting for Indiana Hoosiers HC Curt Cignetti since he led the program to a 10-0 undefeated streak, the best in their last three years record. And who is the next one in line?

For Feldman it’s not Deion but the Brigham Young University HC Kelaokalani Fifita “Kalani” Sitake since he has lived up to the Big 12 standards beating the top 20 Kansas team. With this, he concluded, “My guess is those two guys would be the front-runner but Deion definitely will get consideration.” But looks like another analyst has already rolled out the red carpet for Coach Prime.

How Buffs loyal and analyst silenced Deion Sanders haters

Can Deion Sanders silence his critics and prove he's the best coach in college football?

Have an interesting take?

The Colorado Buffaloes loyal and Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt can never put anyone on the pedestal other than his all-time favorite Deion. Even though, when he played for the Buffs between 2002 and 2005, Coach Prime was not there, yet that did not stop him from rooting for the HC. So now that Deion’s abilities to even qualify for the bare minimum are questioned, Klatt had to stand in defense.

He appeared on The Held podcast with Colin Cowherd on Wednesday where he argued that the Buffs HC is not getting enough attention for the remarkable feat he has put up for the Buffs gifting them a complete turnaround. Right at the beginning, Klatt tried to shut up the Coach Prime haters, “I don’t care what you think about Deion, I don’t care what you think about their style or what they do on social media.” His job right now is to root for him to keep Deion alive in the race.

“The coaching job that Deion Sanders has done at Colorado is remarkable, and he should be on a very short list this year for National Coach of the Year, period,” stated Joel Klatt. It’s an absolute ‘how fast the night changes’ moment for the Buffaloes. After all, expectations were extremely low for them at the beginning. And here there, in mid-November 7-2 and ranked #17 in the country. It’s prime time for Deion to silence Bruce Feldman and claim the trophy and he is already at it even if it means going hard on the players.
