Nebraska Cornhuskers’ dynamic quarterback, Dylan Raiola, has been the talk of the town after a lackluster performance against Rutgers last week. His struggles on the field sparked a wave of questions surrounding his abilities and gameplay. But one bad game doesn’t define a career, and Raiola is determined to bounce back stronger. With the Huskers set to face off against the Hoosiers, the young QB is gearing up for redemption.
Adding fuel to his motivation, Raiola received a visit from Nebraska legend and NFL star defensive tackle, Ndamukong Suh. Sharing the moment on Instagram, Raiola posted a story with Suh, captioning it, “Uncle!! Always great to see the fam.” The visit couldn’t have come at a better time, as it looks like Raiola is soaking up all the inspiration he needs to turn things around in his next game.
While Rutgers may have exposed some cracks in Raiola’s game, he’s ready to prove that one off day won’t define him. With Suh’s words of encouragement and the full support of the Cornhuskers behind him, Raiola is poised for a comeback. However, a weak passing game is something Dylan Raiola should be concerned about, as he repeated the same poor interception judgment against Illinois in their last game.

Raiola attempted to pass the ball to wide receiver Isaiah Neyor for a touchdown but ended up throwing it to Illinois cornerback Torrie Cox Jr. This was similar to what happened against Rutgers, where instead of passing to his teammates, he delivered the ball straight into the hands of Scarlet Knights defensive back Flip Dixon. Well, looking at his performance against the Rutgers, even head coach Matt Rhule has words of advice for his gameplay.
Matt Rhule’s advice for Dylan Raiola
Even Though the team won against Rutgers last week, Dylan Raiola’s weak performance was quite evident in the game. Huskers head coach Matt Rhule also sees room for improvement in Raiola’s performance. After the game on HuskersOnline, Rhule discussed the shortcomings Dylan has to look out for in the game, saying, “I think Dylan’s the guy that the guys on offense look to so we can continue to help him with the improved run game, guys getting open. I think he’ll get better and better and better every week back to the run game.”
Well, Dylan Raiola’s game was quite shaken up in the game as he just completed 13 out of 27 of his passing attempts, running for 134 yards and a disappointing interception. His gameplay even led to multiple sacks and almost cost the team a big one. In Huskers next week’s showdown against the Indiana Hoosiers, a strong offense is something Matt Rhule and the team should look for, as Indiana has a strong offense with an average of 513 yards per game, which can be a point of concern for the team. Let’s see if Dylan Raiola could pull up his game and regain his threat player title.
