Has Shilo Sanders caught a break lately? First, that $11 million bankruptcy thing hanging over his head pre-season. Then, a season packed with injuries, a broken arm, and just…some mid performances. And to top it off, a Combine snub. But, you know Shilo, he’s grinding, prepping like crazy for his pro day. While his brother Shedeur is basically a lock for Green Bay’s first round, Shilo’s NFL road? Way bumpier. Some folks think he might get picked on day three; others? Undrafted. But Shilo’s leaving no stone unturned, putting in the sweat to prove everyone wrong. He’s not waiting for handouts. And now, a draft analyst has stepped up, giving their take on where Shilo might land.

On the March 8th episode of Cowboys Report by Chat Sports, Tom Downey dropped a bombshell on Shilo Sanders while discussing Dallas rumors. The insider made a bold prediction, saying, “First off, Shilo will be a Cowboy. I don’t know if he gets drafted. He was a non-combine invite. He will sign with the Cowboys or with whatever team drafts Shedeur. The two spots for him—lock it in. Look, if that happens, I might throw a big-a– pizza party, to borrow a phrase.”

With the NFL Draft closing in, the buzz around Shilo Sanders’ future is only getting louder. Could Dallas be his next stop? That’s the big question. Despite a solid 2023 season with CU—where he racked up 70 tackles, ranking 9th all-time for CU DBs—Shilo’s draft stock has taken a serious hit. He earned a spot in the 2025 Shrine Bowl, cool, but then that broken forearm after Nebraska? Plus, his injury history—broken finger, ACL tear at Jackson State—NFL teams are definitely side-eyeing him. Talent’s there, no doubt, but can he stay healthy in the league? That’s a big maybe.

Because Shilo Sanders is built for impact, and his scouting report says it all, declaring, “Shilo Sanders is an experienced safety who brings physicality when playing downhill. He also has shown the ability to line up in the box versus condensed sets by the offense. Sanders is a downhill player by nature who loves to be a big-hitter out of the deep post.” Safe to say, his aggressive style and hard-hitting mentality make him a force in the secondary. And when he steps on the field, offenses know they’re in for a battle.

While Shilo is fighting to hear his name called in the 2025 NFL Draft, some mock drafts have him going in the 7th round, with teams like the Ravens and Steelers showing interest. And Shilo is determined to prove he belongs on an NFL roster, no matter where he lands. Now, his father, Deion Sanders, is there to make a luxury push.

Coach Prime’s got a race challenge for Shilo Sanders

Coach Prime is keeping a close eye on Shilo’s grind as he gears up for Pro Day. There’s no better mentor than his own father, pushing him every step of the way. In a recent Well Off Media video, Shilo is seen locked in at the gym, putting in the work. But it’s not just drills—Coach Prime is keeping things competitive, even challenging his son to a race. With his legendary father in his corner, Shilo’s got all the motivation he needs to make his NFL dream a reality.

However, in that video, Shilo dropped a bold statement—he’s aiming for a blazing 4.4-second 40-yard dash on Pro Day. “This time I’m running a 4.4,” he confidently told his father. But Coach Prime, never one to back down from a challenge, ups the stakes. “Let’s do it. You said 4.4? If you ran a 4.4, I’ll buy you a new car,” he declared. Now, the pressure’s on, and Shilo’s got every reason to fly.

Shilo didn’t even blink—he jumped right on that challenge with his 57-year-old dad, you know, the man who ran a 4.27 back in his NFL days. Bet’s on! And with total swagger, he’s already thanking pops for the new ride. But it’s not just about the car. If Shilo clocks a 4.4, he’s gonna turn heads and make NFL scouts sit up and take notice. Look, with the draft coming up, Pro Day is his last chance to bump his stock. It’s now or never. He might not make a huge jump, but a solid showing could lock him in as a Day 3 pick. So, will Shilo outrun his dad’s shadow, boost his draft stock, and drive off with that luxury prize?
