Will Julian Lewis abandon the sinking USC ship for a brighter future with Colorado?

Julian Lewis, one of the most sought-after five-star prospects, continues to be the focal point of USC Trojans amidst the high-scale recruitment race. The highly skilled high school kid acquired some inmate sports abilities that made him a lucrative flip for the Bama, Auburn, Colorado. Despite giving his tentative commitment to the USC, he’s exploring his options. But even if he doesn’t, it has to be, eventually, as veteran analysts cast serious doubt on his future amidst the Trojans’ sinking ship.

Lincoln Riley or the impact quarterback Miller Moss failed to make it a safe place for a world-class newbie, dishing one after another sloppy loss. Throughout the season, the USC offense has almost given up on their run game, culminating in a heartbreaking loss against the Washington Huskies. Falling 4-5 of the season is not a matter of joke. ”You don’t want to just be going in 2025 with a true freshman quarterback in Ju Ju Lewis so I think you need that answer as well,’‘ said ROC boys, the twin host of the ROC Boys overage.

Lewis came and took the entire football community to the storm, flaunting his skills at the Pro Day performance at the Elite 11 camp on Wednesday. The breathtaking throws rightfully earned him the Pro Day Champion award.

Following a super fun yet a little hectic day, fans hoped Lewis would move back to the recurring recruitment discussion. The majority wish, nevertheless, was to see the extraordinary high school talent de-commit from the Trojans at any cost. But the young prodigy, to the collective dismay, re-established his loyalty toward the Trojans and silenced all the controversies. However, Lewis has a real chance at Colorado, as the latest developments speak for that.

The 2024 season will be highly forgettable for USC. They succumbed to 2-5 in Big Ten play, 0-4 on the road, and 4-5 overall. The Trojans got rid of their defensive woes that cost them their title last year, which has not been the problem like it was last season. So Offense takes all the brickbats. The frontrunners of that offense? Coach Lincoln Riley and quarterback Miller Moss. So, their collective failure to understand and cope with the Big 10 scenario is undeniable. Lewis must not want to be a part of the chaos; in case he reconsiders his pledge, it will be Colorado next in line.

USC Trojans quarterback Julian Lewis had a satisfying visit to the Colorado camp on Oct. 26. This was his fourth visit. While everything from facility to players’ treatment impressed Carrollton High School alumna to a great extent, the Buffs getting the bowl eligibility ticket on the same day was a cherry in their image.

”He was there for spring practice, and the family, I remember his dad telling me ‘They’ve got playmakers, this is an offense that’s going to be explosive. They wanted to see it live, real action and they’ve gotten just that,” said ON3 recruits’ analyst Steve Wiltfomg. So, it wouldn’t be a surprise if, by the winter kick-off, Lewis bids goodbye to the Trojans to grace Deion Sanders’ troop.
