Shilo Sanders has turned into the Black Adam of Colorado Buffs football!! Everyone wanted to see that movie but once it came out, yeah, certified rotten. Deion Sanders has it all. Travis Hunter got the Heisman. Shedeur Sanders is the No.1 QB prospect, and the Buffs are going to the Bowl and making Peggy Coppom happy. But what about the middle child? 43 solo tackles with a single forced fumble and one pass defended. Not exactly the stats you’d expect from an NFL draft pick, huh? Going into the 2024 season, Shilo Sanders had the opportunity to prove everyone wrong. He could’ve been the No.1 Safety pick for all we know. But fate had different plans…
… And so did Bleacher Report. Not only did Shilo get cut out for 3 games and had an average year this time around, but Bleacher Report added salt to the wound by skipping out on the middle child in the new collage they posted to Instagram. “It’s Shedeur, Travis and Coach Prime’s final game together today,” Bleacher Report wrote in the caption. Not only did they NOT add Shilo to the collage, but they also didn’t even mention his name. And fans were quick to spot that.

Yeah, it kind of feels bad to watch Shedeur and Hunter eat up all the spotlight, but can you blame them? After that entire forearm injury and the subsequent surgery, Shilo’s overall performance tanked by a big margin. Then you take this and pair it up with how he did against the Jayhawks, and it paints a clear picture of why he has become so “forgotten”.
3 massive penalties against the Jayhawks. Horse collar, offside, and a personal foul. Ain’t no wonder why so many fans had called out Shilo as a “liability” for the Buffs. All he had to do was focus on stopping Devin Neal, but nope.

Being the secondary, Carter Stoutmire did a much better job. He had some phenomenal open-field tackles against the Huskers, and although the Buffs lost that game, Deion Sanders still called him “the future.” The entire 2024 run felt like fate was against Shilo, but somehow, the fans still haven’t stopped supporting the Safety.
Why is #21 missing?
“Damn, no love for Shilo huh!?” was the first thing a fan pointed out under the original post. Sharing the same emotion, another fan wrote, “Shilo don’t exist ig.” It is truly sad to see things turn out this way for Shilo. He has been an important part of Robert Livingstone’s defense, but the injury scene, paired with the mounting penalties, did sniff him out of the race.

“Damn no shiloh wtf that’s his twin when it come to the field,” another fan mentioned. See, despite all of this, Shilo still has shown nothing but respect for his brother. Even with the Alamo Bowl around the corner, all he has done is hype up Shedeur Sanders. “Let’s make them pay for that,” was what Shilo had to say about BYU.
Buffs did get the conference title shot because BYU won against Houston so we could end up watching Shilo go full berserk mode against the Cougars. Finally, a fan wrote, “Travis done replaced shilo in the family.” Yeah, well, we can’t argue with this one. Hunter has managed to carve his way into the Sanders family. From stealing Deion Sanders’ shoes to going on fishing trips with the HC. Yeah, he’s soon going to be the new middle child.
