The much-awaited clash is finally here. It’s Michigan Wolverines vs. Texas Longhorns. But looking at Michigan’s first-half performance against the Longhorns, every fan took a back seat. This was quite unexpected after looking at their season-opener gameplay. Not only Michigan fans but even media analyst Tom Brady looked quite disappointed while conversing with Joel Klatt. Let’s see what he said.
It looks like the Wolverines have started the game on the wrong foot. The scores range with a high margin difference of 3-24 in the first half, raising questions about Michigan’s overall position in the game. During the half-time show, Joel Klatt, media analyst for Fox Sports, and Tom Brady, former Michigan Alum and NFL GOAT, were talking about the game and giving insights. In the conversation, Joel asked Brady about Michigan’s first-half performance, to which he replied, “It is tough to watch the first half,” as he was expecting Michigan to perform well. Tom Brady also mentioned that “Texas is off to a great start and Michigan needs to cover a lot in the second half.” The quarterbacks need to perform better, he added.

Tom Brady seemed quite disappointed and let down by Michigan’s performance in the game against Texas. Even Joel Klatt changed the topic to his debut as lead analyst for Fox Sports. However, Brady also mentioned his wish to come and speak about the opposite score of Michigan’s in the game. He also talked about the Texas quarterbacks and their impressive performance in the first half. Let’s see if Michigan can step up their game in the second half.
Michigan Wolverines’ disappointing performance
The Michigan Wolverines finished their first half with a disappointing performance, training 3-24. Nothing seems to have worked for Tom Brady’s former college team. The defense allowed touchdowns in both the quarters, and the offense? The less said, the better. Michigan fans must have had their hearts in their mouths every time they saw a third-down situation. It seemed like they forgot to both run and pass. QB Davis Warren threw a pick, followed by a bad throw, and followed by a drop from Michigan’s tight end Colston Loveland.
On the other hand, the Longhorns were there to play. On a first down, Ewers completed a 19-yard pass to Jaydon Blue and then connected with Matthew Golden for an additional nine yards. Just before halftime, Golden caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from Ewers, pushing the lead to 24-3. Whereas the Wolverines were limiting their run to 90 yards in the first half and managed only four first downs. The good thing? It can not get any worse. Let us see!
