They say with the birth of a child, a mother is born. Deion Sanders’ daughter Deiondra, like her newborn son Baby Snow, is a newborn mother. Now this has been the biggest gift that the universe has given her. After all, we all know how Deiondra fell under the high-risk mom category all throughout her pregnancy. Yet she took the risk of being a mother.

In that way, to her, motherhood has been extremely special. So she no longer bothers about the changes that her body underwent in the process. Rather, Deiondra took pride in the fact and stood up for this beautiful chapter called motherhood, crushing certain taboos.

Right from the very beginning, Deiondra has considered her pregnancy journey a blessing. She had undergone multiple myomectomy surgeries. Later on, nearing her final trimester, she even got a cerclage band surgically implanted to reduce the chances of miscarriage. For all these, maybe her mother, Carolyne Chambers, did want her to compromise with her health.

Even after that, she decided to keep the child and step into this beautiful chapter of motherhood. So, you can guess how special this journey has been to her. Now that the baby is here, she enjoys every bit of it. From something as enjoyable as dressing up the baby to sacrificing her sleep to attend to the lil one, it has been a rollercoaster ride. So, Deiondra is obviously not okay with the fact that someone portrays it as a burden.

On, January 18, the new mom took a stand on X. For those mothers who take pride in the fact of keeping a zero figure after having a baby, Deiondra had a message for them. In her tweet, she wrote, “This girl gone say, “Do I look like I got kids ,” and showed her body.” Deion’s daughter continued, “I stood up and said, “What that mean? I have a kid.” Im confused. What a body with a kid look like? Any body who carried a child, out bodies are a beautiful blessing.  We all beautiful❤️.” To her, the body change is like a sweet sacrifice that mothers make. She herself has gone through it. 

Back in June, Deiondra flaunted her baby bump, looking stunning in a swimsuit. It was apparent that she had put on a bit of weight. But did Deiondra escape from addressing the issue? Not at all. Instead, she wrote in the caption, “I’ve gained 27 pounds so far during my pregnancy.” She even shared her other problems during her pregnancy journeys, like her cravings and binge eating sessions, with her online fans. So, in a way, Deiondra took pride in her weighing scale gains. This is not the only convention she broke.

Well, so far Deiondra’s mother was concerned about her daughter. Now that the baby is here, the first-time grandmom is too protective of Baby Snow. However, on that note, Carolyne and Deiondra got into some disagreement. The reason? It’s about the lil one’s diet chart. After all, the two mommies belong to two different generations. The question: is cereal good or bad for newborns?

Well, Deiondra knew where exactly she could find the answer. Having an IG family of 386k followers, she thought that the IG story would be the best option to seek enough clarity. On January 6, she posted on IG, “Parents! What age did you start giving your baby cereal? My mom keep buggin me asking to give him some. Snow sleeps fine without it already. What age did you give your baby cereal and why?” The concern has been real, folks! After all, nutritional science has evolved over the years since Deiondra grew up.

As per the latest studies, cereals contain heavy metals and toxins. Finally, the concerned mom got the answer she had been looking for. In a later post, Deiondra Sanders wrote, “Welp after taking everyone answers and my own research into consideration. Sorry mommy @carolyncsandersrealtor SNOW will not be on cereal right now. 😭 Now after 5 months I am willing to start making Snow his own puree to give him ALONG with his soy and breastmilk 😌.” So, Baby Snow has become Deiondra’s everything, and she wears her pride like a badge of honor.
