It is the season of giving, folks, and it looks like Deion Sanders is punching in his ticket early and turning into Santa for the people. The Buffs ended the year on an amazing note. 9 wins and a bowl entry? How many of the haters had thought that Coach Prime would manage to brew up such a storm? And well, it just doesn’t end there. Deion Sanders’ wonderboy Travis Hunter got the Heisman trophy, and Shedeur Sanders? Well, we all know that he is going to be the No.1 QB pick this 2025 NFL draft. Whatever Deion Sanders has managed to get done this season couldn’t have been possible without the support of all the Colorado Buffs fans.

So, it’s about time he gives back to them. Back on Well Off Media, Deion shared some exclusive news. “Is going to be 2 to 4 people that I don’t know… In San Antonio that I’m gonna bless with tickets to the game,” Deion Sanders mentioned. Christmas gifts coming in early, huh? There is only one catch. As Coach Prime points out in the video, all you guys gotta do is subscribe to the channel and stay tuned for all future videos. The overall plan for the gift hasn’t been figured out yet, but we all know Deion Sanders. He is going to find a way and get this done because this ain’t even the first time he has surprised someone.

What special can you do for someone who has been a fan of the Buffs almost all her life? Tricky right? But Deion found a way. If you are a Buffs fan and you don’t know who Peggy Coppom is, then you really gotta start digging in deep.

The 100-year-old super fan has followed the Colorado Buffs all her life, and back in August, Deion Sanders handed her the perfect gift. An NIL DEAL. Imagine that. The basis is very simple. Deion, with the founder of Blenders’ eyewear, Chase Fisher, designed a custom NIL deal for Peggy.

For every sleeve sold, Peggy is going to get $1. And if all of this wasn’t enough, do you know what Peggy got on her 100th birthday? Yeah, the entire Big Noon Kickoff celebrated it with a beautiful cake. And not only that. Coach Prime is also keeping his promise of taking Peggy to a bowl game.

Deion Sanders: Santa or Coach? How do you see his impact on the Buffs' success?

Have an interesting take?

The Alamo Bowl

One final game with the squad. See, Deion Sanders’ redemption arc is now complete. No one is going to call the Buffs “playing for clicks” anymore. They got over that 4-8 season and came back with a bang. Travis Hunter got the Heisman to Colorado and Shedeur is nailing the draft stocks.

To add the cherry on top of this cake, both of them are going to play against BYU at the Alamo Bowl. See, generally, senior athletes skip over the Bowl games. With the NFL draft so close, it could end up being a potential risk if they get injured or something.

But not Shedeur and Hunter. Both of them have given their word and will be playing for the Colorado Buffs. All that is left to do is win that game against the Cougars and end the year as a 10-win team.
