Are you kidding me? Deion Sanders has taken away the starter role privilege of Shio Sanders and Travis Hunter? No, no. It’s Coach Prime’s way of lighting things up before the challenging 2024 season. Amidst the practice, the dynamic Buffs duo were having a fun time among themselves. But what caught Deion’s attention?
Of course, their imitation of Coach Prime’s dance from one of his old music videos. This set the scene for the Buffs HC to deliver some laughs. After all, Deion had to bring the bling after the Paul Finebaum banter.

In what appears as a clip from their latest practice session, Hunter and Shilo are spotted grooving to some catchy tunes. Dressed up in their Colorado jersey and the dual-threat with his guards on, fun times roll for the Buffs. But wait a second! Hunter’s and Shilo’s moves might look familiar to you. Yes, they were busting out their coach’s signature moves from an old performance. And BOOM! Deion thought of teaching them a lesson. He then dropped a banger by playfully scorning them in the caption, “What’s wrong with @db3_tip & @shilosanders? These 2 young men will not be starting the 1st game for obvious reasons. #CoachPrime.”

Deion has always been known for his athletic skills. But he has been a stunner in the world of entertainment as well in the 1990s. His personality and music career did land him a prime opportunity to host SNL in February 1995. And no brownie points for guessing, the-now Buffs HC came up with flying colors. Looking dapper in a pink suit, Deion had set the stage on fire by performing his songs It’s On and Must Be The Money. Is it their way of keeping the spirits high after the Finebaum attack?

For quite a long time now, Finebaum has kept his watchful eyes on the Colorado Buffaloes. On August 14, Wednesday the analyst along with Heather Dinich joined ESPN’s Get Up to add some oomph to the already tense situation. And guess what just came up? That Finebaum has some serious problems with Deion’s attitude. He claimed, “The problem I have with Deion Sanders is his attitude…He’s very defensive, and I think he’s in for a very difficult second year in Boulder.”

Not Coach Prime, but he did deliver some spicy takes about the Buffs program as well. According to the analyst, “Deion Sanders is a superstar Greeny, we all know that, but Colorado is nothing. They’re just another school in the middle of nowhere in a third-rate league.” On the other hand, even though Dinich has faith in the program he refuses to admit that Colorado would have an edge in the Big 12 until they have made some significant progress on both sides.
Finebaum seems to be super confident in the fact that Colorado would finish the season with a 0.500 record. Let’s watch Hunter and the gang work their magic to transform analyst doubts into an epic comeback story.
