Deion Sanders is cooking something, and it smells great. The Nebraska game not only destroyed the Buffs but also cost Deion Sanders one of his most valued soldiers. Shilo Sanders was out because of an injury and the world seemed to stop for Coach Prime and Co. However, the recent news is in and Shilo looks like he can hit the turf with all his might. Deion Sanders and his team are in one of the best spots they could be this season.

So, naturally, Coach Prime is planning a new approach for the Wildcats. On the pre-game press conference on DNVR Sports, Deion Sanders opens up regarding his plans for the Kansas State showdown. “Carter has done a wonderful job, got a lot of experience, and uh, he’s in on some packages as well, but Shilo’s full go. We have we should have the entire starting defense,” Deion mentioned. Having the entire starting defense at Coach Prime’s disposal changes the game drastically.

See, Carter Stoutmire has stepped in whenever Shilo has been out and to say this guy is making Deion rethink the safety spot would be an understatement. Stoutmire has already managed to rack up 15 solo tackles and 5 of them came from the UCF game itself. So, this guy is already set on the defensive line.

However, now that Shilo is back, Deion will have access to additional talents. The defensive line has already been performing well above any Buffs fan’s expectations. Robert Livingstone has managed to change the face of the game. This was the same team that used to allow 35 points on the defense and now has rarely let their opponents hit the 30 mark.

Now, the question is, will this be enough to stop the Wildcats and their rush game? See, Kansas State QB Avery Johnson is best when it comes down to his rush plays. This guy is dynamic and fast and can give the best defensive lines a run for their money.

Coach Prime and his offense could pull this off

Deion ain’t taking this entire thing lightly. A few moments ago, at the same press conference, Deion Sanders issued a reality check to Shedeur Sanders and Co. “You learn a lot from successes. You don’t just learn from when you’re getting your butt kicked,” Coach Prime had mentioned. Standing on rank 2 on the Big 12 list, Shedeur and Travis Hunter need to keep their heads in the game.

What’s your perspective on:

With Shilo back, can the Buffs' defense become an unstoppable force under Deion's leadership?

Have an interesting take?

Coach Prime has already given Shedeur more than enough protection inside the pocket. With the TE added and Deion switching to an ’11 personnel’ playstyle, Shedeur will be much more comfortable from playing inside the pockets. We saw against UCF how crucial this entire change was. Heck, the Buffs easily managed to tackle a run-heavy team like the Knights without breaking a sweat.
