On August 23, 2024, ‘229 Dawg 🏆 🏆’ shared a post in which bold statement of Deion Sanders, head coach of Colorado, mentioned, “If you weren’t with us when we went 4-8 don’t come to our parade when we bring home the hardware.” This swaggering comment of Sanders let CFB fans run wild.

The comment was based on the poor performance of Colorado in the 2023 season with a 4-8 record. However, some national analysts believe that the Buffs will remain under the six-win mark in the 2024 season whereas some trust the leadership of Sanders. On Saturday, replying to the overconfident comment of Sanders, a fan posted “There’s at least 10 teams better in the big12 than cu“, on his Twitter account in a taunting way. So, it is pretty clear that there is no point in over-expectation because becoming a playoff contender can be tough for CU Buffs.
