Remember that moment when Nick Saban’s wife made an appearance on ESPN’s College GameDay? Miss Terry not only captivated a huge crowd with her insightful football knowledge but she also displayed her authority over the retired CFB GOAT coach with more accurate predictions. And even when Nick Saban didn’t believe in Deion Sanders, she saw the possibilities beyond what her husband saw in the Colorado HC.
In a new YouTube episode of Coach Prime’s Playbook with Romi Bean on October 10, Deion Sanders showered his appreciation for Miss Terry. The video showed a clip of Nick Saban and his wife Miss Terry dropping their predictions on the UCF vs Colorado game. When Nick Saban picked UCF, she gasped and teased her husband on how he’s snubbing Deion Sanders who had nothing but the best wishes for him. Miss Terry then said, “I got your back Deion.”
The camera shifted back to a grinning Deion Sanders who affirmed that he sent a supportive message to Nick Saban as Miss Terry had mentioned. Then he added, “Let me tell you something. On our lowest moments last season… I put my morning messages out and it’ll be a text on from her just encouraging me and motivating me and I absolutely love this so I thank her for having backs.” Miss Terry’s support for Deion Sanders is mutual.

In a previous interview with Joel Klatt in June, Deion Sanders showed his admiration for Miss Terry after praising Nick Saban. He said, “Terry, his wife (is amazing). Mrs. Saban needs to teach a masterclass on how to do it. With all the women that are alongside the man, she is unbelievable.” Even then, he showed his gratitude for her having his back last season despite their fall with the message. Deion Sanders needs the support from people like Miss Terry as they gear for a highly-anticipated game against Kansas State.
Colorado vs Kansas State odds
The Colorado Buffs best be well rested after their bye week because they’re about to play against their first ranked opponent of the season in Week 7. Both the Big 12 teams are coming in with 4-1 but according to analytics, the Wildcats are projected as a 0.9-point favorite over the Buffs. K-State has formidable players like former Colorado RB Dylan Edwards who improved their rushing attack to sit at No. 7 in the FBS.
What Colorado lacks in rushing, they made it up with their passing output as the No. 9 in the nation. It’s thanks to Shedeur Sanders who completed over 70 percent of his passes for 14 touchdowns and three interceptions. An upcoming win against K-State will give them a chance to rank on the AP Poll Top-25 and Deion Sanders is far from complacent despite their three winning streaks. The next game at Folsom Field on October 12 will also see the return of Shilo Sanders from his injury.
