The Colorado Buffaloes’ loss to Nebraska in the second week has hit the team very badly. The Well of Media founder and son of Prime Time, Deion Sanders Jr., was equally affected. Even after a few days since the game, social media is still buzzing with boos, taunts, and trolling against the Buffs. The 28-10 loss has affected the entire Sanders family. Deion Sanders Jr., who often engages with the trolls, is staying true to his father and his vision as a head coach.

After the loss, fans and media houses questioned Prime Time’s team’s ability. Many questioned the star players after Shedur Sander and Travis Hunter’s performances against Nebraska. As the taunts and questions are still fresh, Sanders Jr. spoke to Zero 2 Sixty With Matt McChesney podcast, where he clearly refuses to make any statements on Travis Hunter or any other Buffs player. “That’s that’s a hell of a question. That’s the that’s actually the greatest question on Earth right now to be real with you, and uh, it’s a question everybody wants to know.” After all the recent criticisms, Sanders Jr. took a firm stance.

The Sanders family is loved by many, and fans really look up to them. Considering Prime Time’s ethics, Sanders Jr. deliberately avoided commenting on individual players and stayed focused on the team’s positive points. Despite pressure from fans and media, Bucky remains diplomatic in his response.

Sanders’s decision to avoid negative talk and emphasize the team’s positives and strengths highlights the family’s core values. Sanders is a big name in college football, and all the members are in the headlines very often. It is a great responsibility of Shedeur, Shilo, and Bucky to uphold the legacy and avoid any wrong actions or words, especially in the media’s eye, that will hamper the family’s image.

Deion Sanders Jr.’s continued defence of his father

This wasn’t the first time when Sanders Jr. defended his father or his team. A lot has happened after the Buff’s defeat in the second week. We all know how fast social media is. Good or bad, everything goes viral within seconds. Similarly, a rumor circulated across social media that Deion Sanders, head coach of the Buffaloes, has requested the university band to play the fight song after his son scores a touchdown. Instead, he has asked the DJ in the stadium to play Shedeur’s rap song.

Buffs had a bad week. After the stadium, trolls were all over social media, and rumors were spreading very fast, which prompted Sanders Jr. to step in and defend his father. As soon as he saw such allegations, he shared a tweet with the caption, “Bro, come on now…”. He tried his best to dismiss the claims.

Bucky has not just defended his father; he also stepped in for Shedeur when the Cornhuskers didn’t leave any chance to bring down the Buffs QB. Soon after the Cornhuskers defeated the Buffs, they played Shedeur Sanders’s rap song “The Perfect Timing” to poke more fun. Sanders Jr. saw their celebration on social media but chose not to ignore it. Instead of addressing it directly, he shared the video on the Well Off Fever’s official Instagram page. By sharing the video, he tried to show his appreciation for the team and gave the Cornhuskers the due credit for their phenomenal performances.
