Is Deion Sanders redefining what it means to be a 'Grand' parent in the sports world?

There’s nothing wrong with enjoying a bit of “Grand” in Boulder. It started with Coach Prime himself, who might as well add “Grand” before his name now. Next up was Deion Sanders Jr., who recently stepped into his new role as “uncle,” thanks to his sister Deiondra. Shilo and Shedeur could be up for their uncle duties soon too.

The Sanders family seems to be taking it easy, slowing down a bit to enjoy life’s precious moments, especially with the newest addition keeping everyone busy—Baby Snow Que, Deiondra Sanders, and Jacquees’ adorable little one. And Deion Sanders Jr., aka Bucky, recently melted hearts along with Baby Snow. Moreover, Deiondra’s. In a series of posts shared by Deiondra, he was seen snuggling up with three-month-old Baby Snow, proving that he’s a loving uncle for sure. Deiondra captioned the post, “Uncle OSSACIN in full effect🥰,” showing Bucky holding Baby Snow, with a heart emoji covering the baby’s face. Well, he’s just the second family member spotted with Baby Snow this week—the first being none other than Granda Prime himself.

Baby Snow was with newly turned Grandpa Deion Sanders and recently shared a heartwarming moment, marking the start of the Colorado Buffaloes’ Bye Week on a high note. Coach Prime took this new role with immediate effect and added a bit of humor too. Sanders recounted a relatable grandparent moment involving Baby Que’s “Standing Dump” diaper incident on social media. His playful caption was: “I’m actually loving this GRAND thang.”

It’s no surprise that fans love these glimpses into the Sanders family’s downtime. Despite their busy schedules, they prioritize family time, reflecting Coach Prime’s values. Deion Jr. exemplifies this by sharing heartwarming moments with his sister, Deiondra.

Deion Sanders Jr.’s strong sibling bond with Deiondra

The reason is that he is busy creating that hype that we all see surrounding CU. Though he doesn’t play football anymore, instead, Deion Sanders Jr. has taken the reins on the social media front, building a dedicated following for Colorado’s program and doing it quite like no other school is doing. But the face behind his Well Off brand and media doesn’t shy away when her sister needs her. Consumed by the guilt of missing his nephew’s birth, he had to bring in a customized baby Snow-sized Well Off t-shirt. All on Deiondra’s request.

Have an interesting take?

Time for Deiondra to return some favour, and she didn’t disappoint Junior. She gifted him a priceless pair of threads with “WELL OFF” printed on his nephew’s gender reveal, a double occasion for the sweet brother. That gift could also said to be a thank you from Deiondra for taking her care during her pregnancy, adding more emotions to their stronger brother-sister bond.

As for the Buffs, as modern CFB requires, Buckey has built a brand out of it. Contributing to the team’s growing audience and excitement around the program. “We try to flood the market,” Sanders Sr. said about the strategy on one of his son’s videos from January. Why is this important? Well, more eyeballs, which has increased the revenue generation in terms of more college applications, tickets, etc. He has transformed the Buffs in his own way.
