Deion Sanders Jr. separates personal and professional—Is this the secret to thriving under a legendary father?

Sometimes straying away from the path ain’t that bad. Everyone knows at this point that Deion Sanders is a legend. With bringing the Buffs from 1-11 to 4-8 last season and making the program reach millions in valuation, Coach Prime has done a lot to revive Colorado and make it “everybody’s Super Bowl”. His sons Shilo and Shedeur Sanders are all set to rock the field this year with a revamped O-line and team comp. However, someone who doesn’t get enough credit for what he has done for the Buffs would be Bucky. Coach Prime’s oldest son, Deion Sanders Jr. decided not to go down the path of college football.

With social media and music becoming his calling, Bucky has made a big name for himself. Back on August 16th, Bucky took to Instagram to share some honest words. He explained how everybody’s gotta play a role and they should never envy someone else. “Don’t want to mix the two. There’s a time where I’m a son/brother, then there’s a time where I’m the camera guy,” Bucky wrote.

And Coach Prime couldn’t have been prouder. He took to the comment section to write, “That’s my SON”. Bucky is the reason behind Deion and his “Coach Prime” persona, along with the social media fame that the Buffs enjoy. Running Well Off Media in the background, Bucky has captured every important part of Deion’s life and has brought the fans tons of highlights from practice sessions or the family trips that Shedeur and Shilo enjoy.

“He’s Creative, Innovative, Honest, Selfless, Passionate, Intelligent & Aware,” Deion had written about Bucky in a post he had shared back in February. Bucky is also bringing in some big changes for his brand. Back on July 24th, during another episode of Reach The People, Bucky mentioned that he has some new plans to expand Well Off Media. “We’re expanding Well Off to cover not only Colorado but other schools too,” he noted. With Shedeur and Shilo moving to the NFL post-2024 season, this new opportunity will allow Bucky to cover his brothers closely on their journey and keep the Buffs fans tuned in. However, keeping that aside, another very important part that y’all should remember about Deion Sanders Jr. is that he also ain’t afraid to criticize Colorado when needed.

Sanders Jr. take on the Buffs’ parking fiasco

Back in June, we saw Bucky furious because of CU Police booting vehicles. He took to his Instagram story to mention, “You really have to be the biggest bomb.” Parking has been a major problem back in Colorado. Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig from the Buffs had to pay around $3k because of alleged parking violations. Not only that, Travis Hunter’s truck was also booted from the campus without any proper warning.

Have an interesting take?

Even back in July, when CU had closed down most of the parking around campus, Bucky mentioned in a story, “Y’all closed this entire garage? it’s like 200-300 parking spots.” He went on to highlight that this is why people had no place to park properly and were getting their vehicles booted. While the issues are yet to be resolved, it’s good to see that Bucky is not shy of pointing out the flaws in the program. Regardless, Buffs fans surely cannot wait for all the coverage Bucky is going to bring once the 2024 season starts off.
