It’s been a tough week for the Colorado Buffaloes, but Deion Sanders Jr. isn’t ready to dwell in that humiliation any longer. As the media man behind the Buffs, he’s doing his best to bring some positive vibes to the team. And he’s not being very subtle about it.

It’s no easy feat to bounce back from a rough 28-10 loss to your arch-nemesis. The Nebraska home ground was filled with loud boos, taunts, and trolls from every corner. Now, with the taunts still fresh, Deion Sanders Jr. is pushing his dad’s team to step up and take action.

On September 9th, Deion Sanders Jr. posted a clip of the Nebraska team celebrating their win on his ‘Well Off Media’ Instagram page. The field was a sea of red as the Buffs left the field in defeat. His caption read, “Gotta remember the feeling and never feel this way again. You don’t like people taunting you, then don’t let them. Do something about it.” It’s clear Deion Jr. is using this crushing loss to motivate the Buffs to perform better against Colorado State in Week 3.

Well, for Coach Prime & Co, reviewing the game film from Nebraska is crucial for that. The September 7th game exposed many weaknesses in the Buffs’ offense. For starters, Nebraska’s CB Tommi Hill made an easy pick-six, intercepting a pass from Buffs’ quarterback Shedeur Sanders and ran it back for a TD.

Their defense dominated throughout, going for 6 sacks against the Buffs’ quarterbacks. Well, five on Shedeur and one on backup Ryan Staub. And their linebacker Mikai Gbayor led the charge for most of those. But the Cornhuskers didn’t stop with their on-field antics alone.

Deion Sanders Jr. takes the high road

What’s your perspective on:

Can Deion Sanders Jr.'s rallying cry ignite a turnaround for the Buffs after their Nebraska debacle?

Have an interesting take?

Dylan Raiola and his team sure had a blast after the Buffs’ loss. After all, they finally defeated their rivals after more than a decade, so a little celebration was in order. And they did celebrate, but in a way that seemed pretty mocking. After their win, the Cornhuskers were spotted playing Shedeur Sanders’ song ‘Perfect Timing’ in their locker room and jamming to it with a hint of sarcasm. They even mimicked Shedeur’s signature wristwatch move and posted pics of it on their social media. Well, it definitely didn’t sit well with the Buffs.

Even Deion Sanders Jr. took note, saying, “Y’all deserve it. Turn up, Nebraska. We would do the exact same thing to y’all”, choosing to take the high road here. But let’s put the drama aside for a moment—Nebraska did play a fantastic game, making their mockery almost understandable. Their five-star QB, Dylan Raiola, in his debut season, completed 23 of 30 passes for 185 yards. Meanwhile, the Buffs’ top QB managed just 23 of 38 passes. Deion Sanders Jr. himself posted a video on his ‘Well Off’ YouTube channel titled, “Colorado Gets Embarrassed By Nebraska: COMPLETELY EMBARRASSED,” which perfectly summed up the Buffs’ feelings that day.

Now, they’re looking to bounce back against CSU next week.
