Is Coach Prime's favoritism towards his son justified, or is Travis Hunter the real star?

Remember Coach Prime’s crispy white cap that had the word “PRIME” and CU Buffs logo underneath in black and gold colors? Somehow it got into the hands of the Buffs’ two-way star Travis Hunter, specifically speaking, his head. Did Deion Sanders give it to him? Or did he get a version of the cap for himself? The answer is more surprising than you know.

From sunglasses to caps and hats and lavish jewelry, Deion Sanders is a merch wonder aside from being an inspirational coach and legendary player. His “if you look good, you play good” motto has spread across the Buffs who try to emulate his style. But for Travis Hunter, wearing this cap means more than just looking good.

In Deion Sanders’ new IG post on August 22, as uploaded by Deion Sanders Jr., Travis Hunter walked up to Bucky, who was filming the whole thing. He immediately admitted his crime saying, “Hey bro, I stole this from your dad bro. What does that mean?” Bucky didn’t waste time in letting him know he’s going to snitch on him saying, “That means I’m gonna tell him. I’m gonna show him this video.” But that isn’t what Hunter wanted to hear. This is what he wanted to hear — “That means I’m the favorite huh?

It’s no secret that Coach Prime likes ranking his kids consistently. Deion Sanders Jr.’s hilarious threat about telling on him continued as Hunter taunted him with the “I’m the favorite” line. Still, as the post caption suggests, Bucky still hadn’t gotten the chance to tell on him to Coach Prime because he forgot. This “favorite” tease came days after Deion Sanders hailed his oldest son as the family’s MVP.

Deion Sanders Jr. isn’t going to flex more than necessary and he made that clear on August 17. Given his tremendous contribution to the Buffs, his father uploaded a cool and crisp photo of him behind the camera with the caption, “The Family’s Most Valuable Person. Bucky & WELL OFF MEDIA on YouTube are game changers.” This is Deion Sanders’ way of letting the world know that right now, Bucky is the favorite Sanders kid.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Coach Prime's favoritism towards his son justified, or is Travis Hunter the real star?

Have an interesting take?

Bucky, who usually stays behind the scenes, dropped a humble response in the comments which read, “Just playing my role. I appreciate you mane.” All of Sanders’ kids are talented and get their chances to shine on the No. 1 spot in his rankings. Hunter, who is like a son to Coach Prime, isn’t far behind them but Bucky has been consistently earning his father’s appreciation. But with the season commencing in a week, the field performance might play a huge factor in determining who the next favorite son will be.
