Travis Hunter doesn’t just steal hearts—he swipes up stuff like a seasoned pro too. And no one knows it better than Coach Prime, who’s the constant victim of Hunter’s tradition. His shoes? Gone. The boat? Hijacked on a fishing trip. It’s like nothing is there for him to take. No wonder the guy’s a two-way menace on and off the field. Now, with Hunter going pro, who’s left to keep Coach Prime on his toes? Enter Bucky, ready to carry the torch—or, in this case, whatever he can sneak out from his dad!
We all know that Deion Sanders’ kids don’t merely stand by each other in difficult situations—they amplify the trouble. Especially if it involves their Coach Prime. And no prank ranks higher than Travis Hunter’s sneaky tradition of swiping his stuff. With Hunter gone, a new challenger steps up, eager to raid his office and keep the chaos alive.
Now, sharing a glimpse of his latest heist on Well Off Media, Deion Sanders Jr. spills the details. “Man, Travis is gone, so I feel like it’s my responsibility to keep the tradition going and steal stuff out of his office. So he’s not here today, so I’m going to steal some stuff real quick. We got to keep the tradition alive.”

Well, Deion Sanders Jr. has taken up the ‘tradition’ and here enters the search for a pair of shoes. This might make you remember the moment when Travis Hunter got caught red-handed sneaking into the coach’s office to take a pair of LeBron Prime sneakers. Coach Prime even gave him a tag of “thief” and “very roguish.” That’s not it. After days of stealing his LeBron James pair in broad daylight, Hunter also admitted that he took another pair of shoes that were a gift from NBA superstar Ja Morant. Prime father-son moment.
If you thought that was the end of Hunter’s robberies, you’re in for a surprise. Swiping stuff behind Coach Prime’s back is one thing, but Hunter took it up a notch as he pulled off the same stunt right in front of him and the entire nation. Crazy, right? During a press conference last year in November, Deion Sanders and Travis Hunter delivered a hilarious moment.
Midway through a question, Travis Hunter ambled in, nonchalantly returning a gently worn pair of Nike shoes he’d “borrowed” from Coach Prime. Then he asked, “Do they fit?” Hunter confirmed it but then joked about having a pair on layaway, cracking up the room. Even Deion Sanders handed them over to him, saying, “How does a man wait for you to take shoes off… Yeah… He’s unbelievable. He has so much money, and he’s so frugal. Reminds me of somebody.” That moment was not only hilarious, but it also highlighted the strong bond between Sanders and his star player, a Heisman winner who’s good at stealing laughs and picking both. But Hunter is not the only one who likes to trouble him.

Shilo Sanders’ subtle jab on Deion Sanders’ dash time
Now we all know that Deion Sanders ran a jaw-dropping 4.27 at the 1989 NFL Combine, a time that’s still legendary to this day. But like many football fanatics, he goes crazy over the fact that his own son, Shilo Sanders, doesn’t buy the idea of him doing it. And once again, Shilo is back, giving a hard time to him. During a workout session captured in Well Off Media, Shilo asks Coach Prime, “Can I ask you a question? ‘Cause I’m trying to learn something. You say I don’t learn from you; now I’m trying to learn from you.” And he gives it back to him with a classic blend of humor, saying, “Yeah, but you can’t just stumble around just ’cause I ran a 4.2. I ran a 4.2 for breakfast. Think about it.” Subtle flex.
That’s where the fun begins. Shilo Sanders, knowing the fact that there’s no video available of Coach Prime’s 40-yard dash time, trolled him saying, “All right, so look, there’s no video of you running it, so we’re just going to say—” But knowing Deion Sanders, how can he not be messing more with Shilo and say, “I don’t need video.” That’s true; if you are Deion Sanders, you really don’t need a video to prove your skills. And finally, Shilo ends up giving him trouble, saying, “All right. People— I haven’t talked to anyone that has ever seen it, but you ran it, though. All right. We’ve seen Muhammad Ali box, but I haven’t seen you run a 4—but it’s all right.” It’s weird when the whole world nods at you for your skills and your own son doesn’t believe it.
It seems that even though Shilo Sanders may not believe in Coach Prime’s dash time, he is still striving to accomplish a similar feat. Shilo is not allowing critics to shake his confidence. The standout player for the Colorado Buffaloes recently recorded his fastest-ever 40-yard dash time, demonstrating that his hard work is yielding results, despite not receiving an official invitation to the NFL Scouting Combine.

Rather than waiting for an opportunity, he took matters into his own hands by transforming Boulder into his personal Combine, enlisting official timers to ensure his Pro Day preparation remained top-notch. “I didn’t get invited to the combine, but I brought the Combine to me,” Sanders said, making it clear he’s setting his own path to the league. Now that Pro Day is right around the corner let’s just hope Shilo brings out the best version of himself.
