Does the media just love to hate? Whether it’s a W or L, Deion Sanders isn’t spared from scrutiny! There had been heat in their previous games, especially with their rival CSU where they were talked down by the Rams QB ahead of the game. Still, Shedeur Sanders and co. remained tight-lipped to the provocations and focused on their practice. But with other incidents that transpired, Deion Sanders and his youngest son are still under the knife as their “classless” demeanor gets called out.
With hate and criticism prevailing, Deion Sanders Jr. swoops in to defend his father and his program by taking to X on September 26 to pen down the truth about Colorado. So, even when things weren’t going in favor of the Buffs, the mature Deion Sanders Jr. remained clear-headed as he wrote, “We don’t talk down on others, we just believe in ourselves.”

Colorado may have had a narrow win against Baylor, but the game was filled with incredible plays from Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter. Still, media personality Jason Whitlock feels that it’s just sheer luck. He also dragged Shedeur’s Week 3 controversial move when he refused to shake hands with the Rams QB after the game.
Whitlock also added, “The week before he walked off the field with two minutes on the clock. Now this week, he is not willing to shake hands afterwards. Shedeur is a reflection of Deion. Deion has no class so his son has no class.” Rough, right? But while many of us would lash out if it was our situation, the way Deion Sanders Jr. handled this with maturity is admirable. And this isn’t the only time his maturity took the spotlight.
