Is an injured Travis Hunter still the Buffs' best hope against Arizona's consolidated force?

The injury horror is clearly getting the better of a well-poised Colorado Buffs in multiple ways. In an upsetting game against the K-State last week, Deion Sanders lost two of his most reliable men, Travis Hunter and Jimmy Horn Jr. as they ended up taking tears to their shoulders and knees, respectively. However, there’s a break in the clouds in the Buffs’ locker room lately as both the supreme stars are highly anticipated to make a resilient return to make it easier for the Buffaloes to fight off a consolidated Arizona. While there’s still an air of confusion about whether or not the boy is lacing up his shoes in the upcoming fight, an insider has a reason why he should and it’s beyond his professional duties.

Travis Hunter has been a brand for the Buffaloes and Coach Prime’s favorite for a reason. While the time doesn’t sit well with the talented two-way star lately, he’s all there to bounce it back. For the continued success of the Buffs, Travis Hunter should be good at dishing a banger for his team like he does always. But even if he can’t be his best at the day, his presence will support the Buffs in one way or the other. While coach Sanders wants to keep Hunter out of the defense game, “the Buffs’ defense has gotten better” but they are ‘”vulnerable on the running game” as per one of the key team insiders, Pete Sousa’s take during a pre-game analysis. When he was asked, “Isn’t an injured Travis Hunter better than no Travis Hunter?” a resounding “yes” followed.

Only time will reveal whether or not Travis Hunter will come and take the Buffaloes to a breathtaking win at the crucial mid-season. Regardless of the end reality, fans are bulking up to see a banger showdown more between Travis Hunter and Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan than between the entire lineups on a fun Saturday.

Will the Saturday bring an epic Travis Hunter vs Tetairoa McMillan classic to the screen?

Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan has been making the waves into the college football realm as one of the nation’s best receivers and calls for all the spotlight when he steps up to deliver his best against another best in the nation, the Heisman trophy-favored Buffaloes’ Travis Hunter. While it’s not the first time two heavyweights have come across each other in a boiling game, every meet-up is equally exciting. The last time the duo met and fought each other in Folsom field brought sad, cold November blues’ for the Buffs’, as Hunter couldn’t escape a blow. Despite getting targeted five times, the extraordinary 6 ft 5 managed to haul in the 2-yard touchdown, taking the game to a tie first and a win later.

Admiring his incredible talent, the opponent’s coach Deion Sanders deems the kid as phenomenal. Especially his on-field gel with fellow quarterback Noah Fifita will be on the watch as Sanders sees it as dangerous as an epic pairing between Shedeur and Travis if not more.
