Deion Sanders' haters are in for a shock—will Colorado prove them wrong this season?

When it comes to Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes, there is a lot more hate attached to the program than support. The critics have never been able to fathom their outlandish wealth and their confidence, which has constantly been saying, “We will prove everyone wrong.” And now that the glass ceiling for them has been shattered beyond belief, the haters have suddenly all disappeared and have burrowed into their holes.  The Colorado Buffaloes are currently standing on a 4-1 record and are in the 2nd position in the leaderboard of the Big 12 conference, right behind BYU. This isn’t the same team as their 2023 counterpart, and the sceptics won’t be too happy about that. It’s the dawn of a new era for the Buffaloes, with Coach Prime at the reins and glory in their reach.

On the 30th September episode of ‘the Joel Klatt Show’, the analyst reacted to the blowout victory that Colorado had over the UCF Knights and how they’re liable to preside as the Big 12 champions if their string of wins continues henceforth. Moreover, he had a strong reply to the harsh scrutinizers who tend to have a field day lashing out at Deion and his men in black and golden.

Klatt was heard saying, “If you’re a Deion hater, Saturday was awful for you awful, and it’s not just because Colorado won, it’s the way in which they won. They were more fundamentally sound, that they had better effort, that they were more physical, that they were better coached in the special Teams, it was an allout victory for Colorado, which all of a sudden makes them a threat in the Big 12 and every hater of Deion Sanders, that is their worst nightmare for Deion to actually put a product on the field that is not just flash but legitimate because what Saturday was for Colorado was legitimate.”

Thus, this season looks to be the beginning of the Buffaloes’ dominance as their performance on the gridiron becomes a befitting response to the haters rather than their words. And yet, the critics are still somehow finding ways to belittle the team, to which Bucky lashed out in retaliation.

Bucky calls out critics for harsh words, “These people be so weird, dawg”

Colorado’s 4-1 record and their amazing win against the UCF Knights have secured their reputation as a team that can finally walk the walk instead of just talking the talk. Surely, there are a few flaws in the team here and there, but there’s no doubt about the immense talents that the team possesses in the forms of Shedeur Sanders and the phenomenal Travis Hunter.

Still, ESPN’s David Hale came out with scathing comments about the team’s legitimacy and wrote, “The Buffs demolished UCF 48-21 behind three touchdowns from Shedeur Sanders and another do-it-all performance from Travis Hunter. Colorado doesn’t run the ball, doesn’t play great defense, doesn’t protect the QB and is willing to cut 20 players to make room for DJ Khaled’s entourage on the sideline.

While there is usually a swarm of haters who support such criticism, Hale’s remarks didn’t receive a good reception and even caused Bucky to come out and issue a response. He replied to a tweet about the article and wrote, “These people be so weird, dawg.” Thus, it almost feels like a given that the Buffaloes will be hated no matter what, and we wouldn’t really be surprised if someone found a way to discredit them even if they win the national championship.
