August 10th was rough for Deion Sanders’ cause somehow he found himself amidst a random accusation. Coach Prime had refused to talk with a CBS report because, apparently, CBS had marked the man as the 2nd worst coach in NCAA. The entire interaction from the interview went viral and even Jason Whitlock jumped in, calling Deion “fragile and fraudulent”. However, back on August 11th, Shannon Sharpe had a different take on the scene when he mentioned, “People were going to just say just outright lies”. This kind of instigates that the entire accusation revolving around Deion bullying reporters was a lie.

Now we finally have the footage that proves that Deion was never hostile. Coach Prime shared some clips on his Instagram on August 13th. In the clips, he was found saying, “I love 85% of y’all. I thank you for your love, love, and impact.” Now tell me in what world was that hostile behavior towards the reporters? Shedeur Sanders was quite right when he said that the Buffs are everybody’s Super Bowl. Hell, Andy Staples was even more correct when he mentioned that everyone wants to “beat the crap” out of the Buffs and Coach Prime. That man is rebuilding the Buffs from the ground up for the 2024 season and all he has received is jabs. It is true that the team did a lot of talk last year and couldn’t get a solid win streak. However, you gotta cut them some slack.

Dewey Smith, back on August 10th, had the perfect analogy to explain how people feel about Coach Prime and the Buffs and their potential. Smith mentioned that the Pacific Ocean is the largest body of water. However, people only know what’s lurking on the surface and not what’s underneath millions of miles down. Many are criticizing Deion before the matches even begin. Paul Finebaum also went on to say that the team could never even make the playoffs. However, none of them know what’s going on in the camp. “Destruction is going to be released on college football,” Smith had said. So let’s find out how.

A new era

Shedeur Sanders has seen a drastic change in his overall accuracy. That kid has gone up 70-80% during the practice session. Deion’s 2-way star Travis Hunter is now “faster, leaner-looking, but bigger-looking.” Not only that, Patt Shurmur is now on the team and he’s gonna bring the best out of Shedeur. The main issue that the young QB went through last year was his lack of defense against multiple defenders. Shurmur will help Shedeur avoid that and slip through the gaps towards a perfect score.

The O-line has also seen massive changes. With Jordan Seaton on the team and 6 other offensive linemen who are “bigger and meaner”, Coach Prime can rest well knowing that his son will be protected in the pockets. The team also has a new x-receiver, Will Sheppard, who will be assisting Shedeur with the touchdowns. Sheppard has locked in a top speed of 20MPH+ which would work perfectly mixed with Shedeur’s accuracy and ability to drive the ball downfield. Pretty sure Buffs fans cannot wait to be impressed this year.
