Is Deion Sanders avoiding drama? Well, something is not right! Coach Prime’s ideology has always been a central focus in all his interviews, emphasizing character and discipline while discussing the qualities he seeks in recruits, besides intelligence, speed, and toughness. But after his big “bully” accusation move all this seems quite vague. With the coming college football season, Coach Prime wants to focus all his energy on the game, but even that is not acceptable to the fans.
After an intense media conference with The Denver Post Deion Sanders notified his team not to take any questions from columnist Sean Keeler which came as a hypocritical move from Deion’s side. Interestingly a fan made a bold statement on this issue on Reddit saying “Deion Sanders talks a lot about character but his bully tactics show very little of it”. Well in Coach primes defense there were a series of personal attacks made on him by Keeler calling him names like “Planet Prime”, “Bruce Lee of B.S.,” “the Deion Kool-Aid” and “circus,” according to the post made by the team.

Well, getting bothered by such characterizations is normal, but when it comes to Deion Sanders he has never actually handled criticism well. A few years back while coaching at Jackson State, Sanders refused to take questions from a reporter at the Southwestern on addressing him as Deion instead of Coach Prime. But this time his actions were quite the opposite, the man who never ignores a simple verbal snub is now refusing to take questions from a local reporter. Even fans can’t digest this change.
Hatred prevails for Deion Sanders
A fan straightaway took a dig at Coach Prime’s philosophy saying “Deion Sanders cares about high character when it comes to others’ actions TOWARDS HIM not high character for himself or his progeny towards other people” on Reddit after his hypocritical take on Seen Keeler. Although from Deion’s perspective how much more he could have taken? “Deposition Deion,” and “false prophet” were so uncalled for. Following this another fan wrote, “Deion doesn’t have character. He is a character”. “No wife-beaters are allowed in, the Buffs”, if this is not a good character then what is?
Another fan took it as yet another of Coach Prime’s classic disputes saying “Wake up babe, new Deion drama” Well can’t deny that completely as Coach Prime somehow manages to get in between a weird spot “hostile and bullied” controversy is a perfect example of this. Finally, a fan said, “I mean, yeah. He is and has always been a con man in everything outside of his playing career”. Now that’s just delusional. The man is building his team from scratch after 6 consecutive losses but all people can talk about is Coach Prime’s conflict.
