They are involved in many other activities like research, cultural events, and community programs. One of the alumni compared their situation to the past and said, “Way back in the day, we had tailgates, but they’re far more primitive. We didn’t have the resources or a half an acre.” Now things are more organized, and resources are easily available.

Another alumnus did not hold back and appreciated the things that are available now especially food. “We never run out of food, and we always have no beverages. And it just works everywhere.” The university has evolved a lot these days; it has music, drinks, and games. And how can we miss the Custom Colordao Buffs’s truck?

The impact is not just limited to that. The football program has also helped in increasing the economy. “We get a lot of catering orders for these games and people having different tailgates and parties around town”, excited alumni shared. Everything is for the people of Boulder; it helps them create a lively economy that is now befitting residents and visitors.

Adding on to it, another guy said, “The games were really busy like this, and then as they kind of declined, it definitely affected business. and he’s definitely changed the narrative around and really brought a lot of excitement. It’s like being back here in the old days.” These quotes really tell the difference locals are witnessing; the program is definitely on the right path, not only entertaining them with games but helping them with the economy. Last but not least, the happiest alum expressed “Everybody’s excited, the passion is back let the good times roll.” We love the energy and we are sure Deion Sanders and Buffs are going to continue to spread love and wisdom in Boulder.
