Deion Sanders was highly regarded as a potential Dallas Cowboys’ head coach until Jerry Jones moved on with Brian Schottenheimer. Rumors ran rampant that Coach Prime would leave Boulder alongside his sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, and retreat to NF, most specifically his old home, Cowboys.
However, the Colorado phenom several times dismissed his interest in coaching for the Cowboys in the past, but given that he is no longer an active participant in the league’s top-tier coaching race, it could be possible that he has changed his mind to some extent.

Deion Sanders dished his final take on his’ missed coaching opportunity for the Cowboys
Deion Sanders has been the roughest and toughest coach you might have ever seen in your life. However, he gives off a different rowdy vibe than Nick Saban. The Alabama legend is more about hard work, discipline, stoic attitude, and maintaining a quintessential poker face during the work. But, Deion Sanders, on the flip, is like that backbencher kid who finds one way or the other to leg-pull the teachers but somehow manages to score decent in exams. When, for the third or fourth time or maybe more, he was asked about his take on Jerry Jones’ Cowboys’ decision, Sanders couldn’t find a better way to throw some pointed sarcasm to put it up out there.

Rich Eisen asked how their friendly conversations went a couple of weeks back, and Deion promptly answered, ”It was great, man. It made me think, first of all, Jerry is one of those types of guys that he’s like myself. That you got to have an opinion, you got to make a statement, you got to respond because he provoked so much thought.” Well, do you wonder what does those thoughts exactly look like? Be ready for a gales of laughter. Sanders continued, ”When he calls, and we have our little conversation, you hang up, and you start thinking. You just weigh everything and then go out there. I would probably get a helicopter to fly into work every day. I can stay in my own house and get a helicopter to fly every day and land right down the field, right beside Jerry, and this could work.”
Coming back to his banter with Jerry Jones, Sanders revealed how Jones is listed on his phone. ”It says direct deposit, I don’t put anybody up on real deal names,” Sanders noted.
A part of Sanders’ reason to withstand the offers from the big league is he doesn’t think he is a great fit. As Eisen reminded him of how aggressively he was screaming ‘cut him’ on the screen while watching a match, Sanders agreed and said, “That’s why I don’t think I could ever actually coach (in NFL).” It’s just like the way they approach the game, the way they practice, Sanders said he won’t be able to take as a man and as a football enthusiast.
The only condition of his NFL coaching was a package pick of him alongside his sons by a single franchise. Sanders has been pretty clear on his point, what is the point of going back to the NFL if he wouldn’t be able to coach high school or have to coach against them, maybe?
An NFL coach is a no-no. An NFL talent’s daddy? A big yes.

Deion Sanders narrowed down Shedeur Sanders’ NFL choice after the top pick snub
Deion Sanders, right from the beginning, has been playing an instrumental role in their sons’ draft process. You may call it nepotism or the boundless care of a dad who wants nothing but a good, secure future for his talented sons. But Coach Primes pays zero heed to what you think. He will do what is best for kids’ careers. In a recent interview, Sanders mentioned Sheduer as the most qualified quarterback in the entire draft process. Adding to that, Sanders held his son off at the best four picks.
”I am gonna put him in god’s hands because sometimes we desire things that ain’t right for us. Yeah, so whether he goes 2 or three, he’s exceeded all expectations. So, we are not praying for one, we were praying that you know, we want to go in the first round in the pros,” said Sanders. Shedeur echoed the same sentiment When he was asked by ESPN’s Kevin Clark, whether it not he is mad about not getting picked as No. 1, the Coach Prime kid says he doesn’t really care. The situation could be worse so he deemed it as some good problems to have.

The Titans, Browns, Giants, and Patriots hold the first four picks of the draft. Where Shedueur is destined for? Not sure, but: ” his daddy was the fifth pick, so he wants to go 2 to 4”, Sanders came out candid in his interview with Firsttake.
