In a monumental victory against their arch-rivals, the Rams, the Buffaloes have redeemed themselves. After a disheartening loss against the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Coach Prime’s team was surrounded by doubts and concerns. They had everything to prove against Jay Norvell’s team. Luckily for Deion, he had talented stars like Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders on his team. The offense took the game over and ensured smooth sailing. The Buffs are gearing up for their next match against the University of Baylor now. But at the moment, Deion seems to be shedding tears over his feelings of pride over his players.

The Buffaloes ended their game against the Rams with a clear score of 28-9, squashing down all the heat of the rivalry along with avoiding any injuries to the players. The entire clash was full of friction. The CSU players were putting heavy pressure on the Buffs’ with their constant fouls. However, Deion Sanders’s team didn’t crack. They went on to silence their iconic rivals on the grand stage of the Rocky Mountain Showdown. Now, he’s expressing his pride for the players with sheer emotions and a few tears along with it. Jay Grime, an avid Buffs fan, took to Instagram to share a video from the locker room where Deion was seen giving a post-game speech to his players. The HC was seen choking up and tearing up as he was heard saying, “You have no idea how much this game means to me.”

The buildup for this rivalry has been going on since the 2023 season. Coach Prime’s release of emotions is a perfect commemoration to realize they’re the victors twice in a row. Moreover, the games between the two rivals always lean towards “personal”. This is exactly what Deion deemed it to be on 14th September.

CSU’s Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi and Tory Horton had harsh words to say for their rivals where they were heard saying things like, “We should have murdered them guys, we’re coming for revenge” and “We’ll see how far Instagram followers gets them.” As such, during the post-game conference, Deion Sanders claimed that the game was “wonderful”. He also called it “personal” as he celebrated the monumental win.

Furthermore, the HC highlighted the constant disrespect that they were subjected to and said, “The disrespect was uncalled for during the week. We knew coming into the game would be a bit personal. I just pray that our kids would never act in that matter, cause y’all would have a field day with it.” CSU’s players went a bit far and made some horrendous remarks against Colorado, but after yesterday’s performance, they will be compelled to eat their words with a pinch of salt. Thus, this win was fully being played for respec. That’s exactly what the Colorado team has now in the eyes of the world of college football.
