Today, Colorado Buffs head coach Deion Sanders joined the show Big Noon Kickoff 🦬🙌 ahead of the Buffs much anticipated matchup with the Baylor Bears. While discussing ‌game dynamics, Coach Prime also talked about his daughter and Alabama A&M Bulldogs guard Shelomi Sanders.

When asked by a host if there is any update in the child rankings in the Sanders household to this, Sanders gave a shocking response, saying, “My daughter showed me her shirt last night when she flew here from Alabama where she is playing basketball; she showed me her shirt ballsy, and the down arrow says no. 1 that she got a ranking seed in the back of her shirt; she thinks she is the no. 1 seed right now; I love it, and the kids know.” Following his criticism of Shelomi’s move to Alabama as stupid, Deion Sanders seeks reconciliation.

Earlier this month, when Shelomi Sanders decided to enter the transfer portal, Coach Prime said it was a stupid decision that she left the Colorado Buffs women’s basketball team. Deion Sanders even admitted that he wanted Shelomi Sanders to keep her thoughts clear on her destination before entering the portal, although it was technically against the NCAA rules.

“You get a team before you enter the portal. That’s what I would advise a kid. I know, Well, it’s illegal.’ C’mon, man.” But now Sanders says Shelomi is currently no.1 among his children because of her Alabama seeding. It looks like Deion Sanders finally changed his opinion about Shelomi’s decision and abilities. But what made her choose Alabama over the Buffs? Let’s find out.

Why Shelomi Sanders chose Alabama over the Buffs?

Later on, when Sanders got transferred to the Buffs, she also followed him and joined the same team to stay close to her family. However, that decision changed quite early, as she was not getting what she deserved in the Colorado Buffs, and then Shelomi finally chose Alabama.

While talking about her bold move, Shelomi Sanders gave a diplomatic response, saying she wasn’t getting “good energy” and “good vibes.” Surprisingly, Shelomi Sanders also mentioned that she would have quit playing basketball if she had stayed on the Colorado Buffs team. However, she had to face serious mental health issues because of all the trolls in her transfer decision.

This also affected Shelomi Sanders’ gameplay with a limited game time on the field. But she finally got her big break after joining the Alabama Bulldogs as a three-point threat. Now, Shelomi Sanders is even recognized as a No. 1 player for the Bulldogs. It looks like she finally proved her gameplay even after numerous setbacks. Let’s see how her basketball career turns out.
