Well, Lane Kiffin’s 2024 manifestation did not come to fruition. Forget winning the natty, the Ole Miss Rebels came up short of its College Football Playoff dreams. But Kiffin and his boys made history, nonetheless. A 52-20 win over Duke in the Gator Bowl secured the program’s second straight 10-win season and third in four years. While Kiffin’s professional chapter had its ups and downs in 2024, his personal life has been a bed of roses. While his team is yet to make him feel proud, his home team has already reached the mark. Kiffin is the proud dad of three kids- daughters Presley and Landry Kiffin and son Knox Kiffin. Presley’s latest move led her to make a huge sacrifice while her siblings were the lucky ones to spend an eventful night with dad Kiffin.

Coach Kiffin must be engulfed with some mixed feelings. After all, it’s a bittersweet feeling to see your kids grow up so fast. Landry is now 20 years old, Presley 18, and Knox 16. His eldest one, Landry, chose to stay away from the sports world and carve a career path for herself. She is pursuing her bachelor’s in business administration in real estate at Ole Miss. His son, Knox, is ready to carry his dad and granddad Monte Kiffin’s legacy forward. The Palos Verdes High School freshman is a prospect for the class of 2028. But so what? He already has four offers under his belt. Knox was handed a lucrative scholarship offer by SMU Mustangs’ QB coach, D’Eriq King. Besides, he holds offers from Arkansas State, Western Kentucky, and Georgia State University. But poor Presley!

She is paying some heavy cost for pursuing her dreams. Like her father and younger brother, Kiffin’s younger daughter wishes to be an athlete. She has committed to the USC Trojans’ women’s volleyball team and had to shift bases. With this, Presley will be 1,887 miles away. Yes, it’s going to be tough for the father, but he definitely feels proud about her growth. Back at home, he thought of taking out his other two kids. On April 9, Kiffin posted a picture on his IG story. In the picture, the HC is seen posing with Knox and Landry. Other than them there is someone special in the group. That was none other than Theo Von, the comedian and the star of the Battle of the Network Reality Stars. The caption read, “LFG!! @theovon.” Now, where did the Kiffins meet Von?

The comedian’s earlier stories showed his visit to Ole Miss for a show at The Pavillion. The caption read, “Rebels, we just put up some more tickets to tonight’s sold out show,,, #HottyToddy @olemiss @olemissathletics.” Von even chose to pull HC Kiffin’s leg, telling him that he is taking Lone Star State offensive lineman Hugh Smith off the board. Given his comic timing, it’s obvious that the Kiffin fam had a great time. Even though the head coach’s better half Layla was missing from the picture, Kiffin’s marital life is going on turbo mode.

Lane Kiffin’s family circle grows tighter again

Kiffin and Layla were married for 12 years. The duo crossed paths quite early. Being NFL legendary quarterback John Reaves’ daughter, Layla got a role in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when Monte was their defensive coordinator. The two came closer and started dating shortly after meeting in 1999. Finally, after courting for five years, the duo sealed it with an ‘I do’ in 2004 when Kiffin was the assistant coach at USC. Sadly, their romance took an ugly turn when the couple chose to part ways on February 28, 2016, going for a divorce.

However, over the past few months, Layla and Kiffin have been spotted together on multiple occasions. First, she and her son, Knox, shifted back to Oxford. On the occasion of Landry’s 20th birthday bash, Layla was spotted flaunting her radiant smile, sitting next to her ex-husband. By then, the fans were sure of a patch up in progress when the mother of three was spotted checking out their “home” at Ole Miss. Kiffin further fueled the rumor by posting his sweetheart’s picture and wrote, “🏠💙❤️@olemissfb.” Finally, that day came.

Lane Kiffin and Landry have given love a second chance. They have forgotten all the bad times and are planning for a fresh start. Much like the high school sweethearts. On April 4, Kiffin posted a picture on his IG. It showed Kiffin doing the heart hands and Layla playfully crossing her fingers. Yes, the no-face-only-hands picture had a concert playing in the background. Amidst this, fans did not fail to spot the ring on her French-manicured middle finger. The HC is madly in love again, as he wrote in the caption, “Ride or die ♥️.” Kiffin’s got it all… well, almost. Just a playoff and national title shy of the full package.
