Is Coach Prime's influence on CU Buffs a breath of fresh air or too much too soon?

It’s hard to separate Deion Sanders from controversy. But this time he has been mistaken about something completely untrue. The Colorado Buffs started with an amazing season opener against North Dakota. However, after the match, there was a controversy surrounding Coach Prime on changing the Buffs flight song. Even the media posted the same, claiming that Coach has told the university band not to play the school’s fight song, “Glory, Glory, Colorado,” instead he asked them to play Shedeur Sanders’s rap song, “Perfect Timing,” whenever the team scores a touchdown. Well, it turns out all this is completely false, as the CU Buffs coaches denied the whole narrative. Let’s find out what they have to say about it.

Today the CU Buffs coaches have finally put an end to this rumor. During a conversation with The Pregame Show Network, Colorado Buffs coaches Andre Hart and Coach Pollock denied the whole incident, saying, “Oh Lord, like, hey man, what are we doing? I mean, what are we talking about? Yeah, that’s crazy. Come on now, that is crazy. This is about CU Buffs football, before anything else.” They further added that the things they do differ from other programs because the team is transparent. But making such assumptions about Deion Sanders shocked them.

The level of rumor-mongering surprised Andre and Pollok in the media surrounding Deion Sanders’ integrity towards the team. Following this, they also added, “No, he’s not that way. He won’t let us do that.” It looks like the media should do a fact-check before making such big claims. Yesterday, during a press conference, even Coach Prime criticized the media on the whole rumor, saying, “Whoever reported that I told the band not to play the fight song, that’s idiotic.” He even talked about the importance of verifying facts before setting false narratives for people. Well now, as the rumors have ended, let’s see how the Buffs will perform against the Rams on Saturday following the last match loss.

In their game against the Huskers, the Colorado Buffs were struggling with a weak defense throughout the match. They allowed 334 running yards of Nebraska’s offense. The team failed to score until the fourth quarter. Even star quarterback Shedeur Sanders could not live up to everyone’s expectations. During the match, he got sacked five times. The Buffs were finding it hard to pass the ball, resulting in just 16 runs on 12 carries. However, Deion Sanders has high hopes for their match against the State Rams. Last season, they successfully defeated them in Boulder with a 43 on 35 end score. Let’s see if they could repeat the history this season or will the team suffer another loss?
