The Colorado Buffaloes vs. CSU State Rams game on September 14 was just a warm-up. Turns out, the post-game show was the real blockbuster! And Colorado’s WR LaJohntay Wester couldn’t help but brag about their latest win.
The hype surrounding the Buffs and their in-state rival had peaked before the game, with both teams dropping threat bombs. But who shut down the haters with a pro-level clapback? It had to be Deion Sanders’ son Shedeur who gave a cold shoulder to the Rams QB. With this, Wester also tries the Shedeur Sanders way to slam the naysayers with style but he keeps it different. He’s been sipping on Coach Prime’s Kool-Aid!
Enough is enough! Shedeur had been thrown under the bus after his subpar performance against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Finally, the Buffs QB got the chance to reclaim his hero status when he threw for 310 yards and four touchdowns against the Rams. This was enough for Wester to be beaming with pride in Shedeur’s success and came up with an IG story with a subtle message, “We don’t talk a lot we just handle our business.”

The WR chose to walk on the QB’s path who had put their victory more bluntly, “They just asked for it.” Why wouldn’t they? After all, they had taken things personally after the Rams pulled out sly moves to spice up their fresh wounds. And the Buffs QB by hook or by crook had to shut them up. But hardly did the college football fans expect Shedeur to overthrow his cordial side and land right into the business.

After the game, the Buffs QB was spotted shaking hands with some Colorado State coaches. When their QB Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi too joined in and extended his hand for the end-game ritual, Shedeur was quick to pull his hand away. Already this was quite insulting but Deion’s son decided to take it a notch higher when he started jawing at Fowler-Nicolosi. Amidst the cacophony what stood out was Shedeur saying to the rival QB, “You were talking s— on Instagram. Talking on Instagram. We handled our business. You can’t f— with me.” While the Buffs QB went all raw with his attacks, Wester has been Deion’s most sincere disciple.
Deion Sanders’ directive after Shedeur Sanders’ emotional warfare
After the Nebraska Cornhusker defeat, Matt Rhule’s crew played it dirty with the Buffs when they went with Shedeur’s rap Perfect Timing as their post-game celebration. To keep the players’ emotional health in check, Deion had to step in. Already things had been in a bad state. Before the Saturday face-off, the Rams tried every possible way to break the Buffs’ morale.

Is Shedeur Sanders' bold attitude exactly what college football needs right now?
Have an interesting take?
Knowing how Shedeur got sacked five times, the Rams QB Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi made ultimate use of his weakness. He came up with an open challenge,“They came out with that attitude and thought it was going to be a cakewalk…At the end of the day, you have to line up 11 guys against our 11 guys and we’ll find out who wants it more. We’ll see how far Instagram followers gets them.”
The WR Tory Horton wasted no time to pour into the trend, “We owe them one. That’s been sittin’ on everybody’s minds since we came back from break. We owe them.” But Deion Sanders had raised clear-cut rules for Shedeur Sanders and Co. when he reminded them, “We don’t do what they do. We going to be better than that.” LaJohntay Wester too believes that silence is golden and kept it lowkey!
